Makes more sense for ppl from WoW to go to Warhammer than AoC since it's in the similar "field"

I give Age of Conan two months (i'm being generous here) before people start coming back to WoW. I don't see why people keep on jumping to new mmo's when clearly none of them will ever match up to WoW unless its another game made by blizzard. Trust me people, i've tried, didn't work. I can't remember which one it was but it was an upcoming MMO and a lot of the WoW community said "oh we're gonna quit wow to play this" and it turned out to be a flop. I doubt this will be much different, it'll probably be good for a few hours and then lose its value quickly. Like someone said, the game will be far from balanced farther than what WoW is.. and people will realize they've made a mistake.

Well said, I have played beta and fair enough you don't get a full flavour of the end game style with the level cap at around 20 but the pvp does suck really bad; the only two classes that kept my attention for any real amount of time were the assassin and ranger(because it was OP beyond belief). With WotLK coming out around september time every ex-wow player will return by the flock. Seriously you hear how the new fighting system makes AoC the new MMO but its really rubbish, theres nothing that seperates the skilled (if you can have such a thing in AoC) from the noob button masher. And for all you casters who can't wait to be necromancers and demonoligists, you better prepare yourself for endless loading screens as you will die VERY VERY OFTEN. So whether you take my word for it or not; if you even moderately like to do the odd bit of pvp now and again, AoC is not the game for you

I got the Open beta, and iv gotta say iv had more fun leveling up to the lvl cap, which is only lvl 13, than iv had on WoW in months, WoW is the same old boring shit, this is new and exciting, the gfx are far better than WoW there's no 13 year olds spaming trade chat and being immature little pricks, and to all the people saying that its gunna suck cuz its "unbalanced".... so WoW was perfectly balanced when it came out? erm no... Iv been playing WoW since release and im leaving it for AoC, im not saying i'll never play WoW again, cuz im 100% certain im buying WoTLK, but until then AoC will keep me occupied instead of spending my days grinding arena or doing daily quests.

Most of the videos on youtube are like lvl 20, cuz thats what the cap was on the PvP weekend, so you cant really judge the entire game off those videos as theres another 60 levels :P, but seriously tho you have to trust me when i say this game is fucking great. try it out for yourself, dont judge it from youtube videos with poor quality :(

Since i have stopped playing wow the last 16 months, i guess it's good time to try a new MMO. So far i've heard good comments about AOC and willing to give a try(not hardcore though like i was in WoW ;p) If i was playing wow till now i'd give a try for AOC! For the record, me and some IRL friends have already pre-order the game :D

Just tried AOC beta today and i must say, that game is really good in my opinion. Still abit buggy tho, but it's only beta. The combat system worked, i found it very funny. Even fighting mobs was fun :) You cant just press auto attack and win, u actualy gotta use your brain more :)
Im definetly looking forward to play age of conan :)

Looks very promising indeed, and they've got a lot of potential customers cause WoW is getting boring for a lot of persons nowadays.
