I am a Disc. priest and I am asking how can I kill mages in 1on1. Firstable, Can I?
If I can how? need answers

It's really easy, just keep yourself dispelled from novas and healed up. Chain manaburn and keep SW:P and D on him. Do some fake heals/burns once you know he got his counterspell cooldown ready and once he's oom you win!

the best u can do is sheep him and go drink and lose again and sheep and go drink again and lose more

as kume said its almost impossible for the mage to win this fight, you dont even really need to manaburn him. just dot und heal / kite, dispell yourself a lot so you dont stand in frostnova with 5 icy debuffs and eat fb / lance combo

Btw good thing is to save your Fear when he pulls his WE out, fear it right away so he has no chance to do shatter combo.. And then continue to mana burn and keep yourself up.. Mages are quiet easy to kill, as Disc priest ;).. But have fun with it

Hey sorry I reached lvl 60 and I was pwned by all mages related to 60 lvl. Now I am lvl 67 and I pwn them too easy, btw thanks.
I have to add that I have a 70 mage which I played since WOW exists and I pwn every class providing that I have some loses as everyone.

I use afflicted on my priest. When I played my rogue it helped alot to. Basically any class its helpful. Shows the Enemy CD's via icon or bar. I got these after NECB went down the pipes. Heres a link.
