I told you, that I have 14000 hp unbuffed as a warlock.

I've been checking some warlocks lately on armory and well, I came up with a fact that top hps they have is like 12500 and 460~ resilience. I have 491 resilience and almost 14000 hp. When I check the gems they are using - all the same stuff as I do. Some of them have a little bit more bonus damage others have 1% more crit. Is it some kinda of a bug or woot ? The difference can't be so huge imo.

And another question, bonus damage affects dots? Some say it does, some say it does not ..

But yes, bonus damage affects dots, would be useless if it didn't.

Well, they are placing dots in the same criteria as crits. Resilience is affecting crits and dots. Funny thing is - dots are almost our only damage (most of the warlocks are affliction or high end demonology). With all the pillar'o'round runnin' we can't cast anything else really :D .. and dots do not crit :/

Yes, DoTs do not crit. But they are affected from Spelldamage. Seems like more and more people are just playing WoW for the competetiv aspect and not for Raiding and loving his own Charakter. You should know such things about your Charakter if you care. Like Counter-Strike everyone just played to become CPL PRO, same in WoW now or what :D ?

Maybe they have no blood pact buff and when you login you usally have blood pact. That could be the reason for HP difference.

Well, I do know that they are affected by spelldamage, I have tested it all out long ago when I started playing .. just I saw some "facts" that it is not affected xD Random mambo jambo then. Hmm, well .. I am hardly using imp =)

The fact that u say u got that hp and all i cant comment on, but getting gear like that and now knowing spelldmg affect dots?! :D

well, ofc dots and all spelldmg had to get affected by resilience, it would be kinda unfair if not. You say is the only way you have to dps... well, melee's way to dps is what it is, and their crits had to get affected aswell... so a bit for everybody.

Spelldamage has always afected dots, but since 2.3 or so, the damage they deal got lowered by resilience also. About your health, we can't say why you got more unless you give us an armory link.
