hey, I quit wow like 2 months into wotlk and I might start playing again, but there's one thing I gotta know!

how does the rating system work now? I can see that when some people lose a game in arena they dont lose any rating.. I mean wtf is that?

You start on 0 rating. When you play u get mmr (hidden rating) If u have 2000 mmr u will get 2000 rating really fast and if u loose vs others you wont loose any points untill u play vs people with the same mmr or untill u get over 1300-1500 rating I think, not 100% sure. There is alot of info on blizz homesite if u check the Pvp section in the forum.
