I've played World of Warcraft for a while and i've never had any problems with my social life and so on. But 3months ago I realised that I've really lost some friends because of WoW so i quitted the game.

I have no problems now and so on but why does this game take so much time? im really thinking it is boring but i was playing even if it was boring.

Now i started to play wow again and it is quite funny but i promised myself to dont lay that much time in it!

Did anyone of you had the same problem as me? and why?

i think other people think youre boring because instead of going out sometimes u wanna stay indoors. which is a bit weird :D

I acctually did play to much, i lost friends but got em back eventually :)

thats why boarding school is good if it has no internet.

it keeps you away from wow i can really say you should try that if you have social probs.

however if wow gets boring even go for DOTA or WOWarena-allstars on garena.
else just start a party and inv alot or go to a party :p

It's basically immaturity. If you have your priorities straight you will never lose friends because you play wow, unless your friends are morons. I've played wow for 4 years and have never had any problems with losing friends or getting addicted. It's a game and should be treated as one. Especially now when you don't have to put up much time at all raiding endgame.

im playing wow but never had problems like this,probably because i play it like cs,only to kill players,not to make raids and etc.

still playing with few friends in-game and few more friends in real life this game go sux but still play it but i don't know why ? maybe i played to much and now i can't stop. I want sell it and stop playing any other games .... I spend to much time for games and now i want quit this stupid life beacause start to be boring for me ......

Who need friend when we have wow?

@revn, I have problems like as you :D I haven't played wow like 3 months, But I still have few friends :)
After the quit from game, I was missing everyone, I guess there is empty place in my hearth.

Me and my friends played some trial days and decided that we won't play wow further. For us it is better to hang out somewhere and if we wanna play something we choose CS )
WoW just takes too much time.

I know how that is, I lost alot of friends during classic wow and some during TBC. It was like: "Ill come to the bar in about 30 min", because I thought we would down that one boss on the next try, but we started to play over the time the raid actually would end.

That happend alot, especially in classic wow when Friday actually was a raid day for many people and also the day me and my friends used to go out for beers and tits. Those raids used to last long and wow was to fun to just say: "HEY I have to go". This happend to many times, so they stoped to call and I forgot the great times with them.

But I was lucky, I got in contact with some of them the past months.
