Hi guys just wandering if anyone knew anything about character inactivity and how long you have before it gets deleted. I "had" a level 70 Night elf hunter on the realm alonsus i was on it right until the end of my "60 Day allowance" and i come back next week with another 60 day time card and i put it on my account to find that my character has been deleted. I thought thats very odd. I checked that no one had been on the account because i keep my password very safe and secure, so the only other thing is that Blizzard could have deleted it. I hadn't been abusive and i hadn't scammed anyone so why did they feel the need to delete it. Has anyone else had this done to them or is it just me?

wow thats pretty bad, I habe no idea what to do but I think remebering a 1 year inactivity until the account gets deleted. you should write an email to the blizzard support

my girlfriend had the same trouble, so she wrote a ticket to GMs and one month later blizz returned her mage

That's bad. Contact GM.
My one friend has played in EU server at pre BC. But he hasn't played likes 7 months. But his account's pass is secured. Any one can't log on his account. And he same as u. His character also deleted. (Subedey . ORC warrior level 60 -IDK Realm name)

Well I went inactive after "vanilla" WoW just when TBC came out. I quit the game for about 1 year and a half. So my account froze right after my prepaid credit expired (char never was deleted). A few months later I tried to log onto the website just out of curiosity. It didn't work. The server said: "Invalid username or password". I thought I lost my account or char or both ^^. But months passed and when I went back active I activated a new prepaid card. I logged into the WoW servers and there was my char ;)
Was worried at first but after I saw my char I was relieved.

So, I don't know for how long blizzard keeps the chars of players. But I do know that you can always ask them back if there was a problem. Be careful of deleting chars on purpose or by accident, because you can only ask your char back ONCE! This rule doesn't count if you lost your char by someone who hacked your account, at least I think.

Like the rest says, just contact a GM or blizzard support ;)

i dunno mate i have friend that was inactive for 3 months coz of payment problem and when he solved it and payed subscription all was ok :D
