PVE Rouge Weapon Enchants @ 80
Hwody folks,
I'd like to hear some opinions/suggestions on weapon enchants for a pve rouge @ lvl80.
I play a combat/assasination specc with closecombat spezialization wearing a fist weapn in main and a fast dagger in off hand.
As I still lack some hit rating (got 380 atm) I got the "Accuracy" enchant on my offhand. Now I'm thinking about getting Berserking for my mainhand, but I'm not sure if it's worth it and if it proccs enough in boss encounters.
I appreciate all feedback

i think mongoose still rocks for main for the haste and crit.. btw u know any good guide for combatrogue ? i see Ensidia's rogues going like 350hitrating for poisoncap i think, but im really confused what to do i got a ton of weapons to choose between " soz for offtopic but i need assistance " .
Go Muti, that's the only option~!
Im using accuracy and agility.
Combat still leads mutilate by quite a bit in terms of sustained DPS. Though in burst encounters you get alot more damage out of Mutilate. Though the hit cap now is 700 so if your lacking alot of hit Mutilate is probably the best option til you can boost yourself to around 600-700 raid buffed.

well, i wouldn´t aim at the 700 hit cap for white dps due to the poison buff everything from 315 (poinson hit cap including 5/5 precision) should be fine. especially in mutilate where you do a lot of your dps in yellow PLUS the yellow poison dps your white dmg is losing in importance. and with mutilate specc you also need some expertise. (cap should be around 200 exp) because a missed finisher could ruin your rotation cause you keep your slice´n´dice up with envenom. after you reached a good hit and exp rating agility is the best stat you can go for.
for combat i´m not 100% sure if the 315 poison hit cap would be enough to get many combat potency proccs but i think it´s pretty close to the poison hit cap.
of course stacking hit is not the worst thing one can do, but i would never again stack hit the way i did in bc raiding. the loss of other stats is just to high to aim for 700 hit rating.
back to the enchants. mongoose has the same problem crusader has when it came to level 70. the procc rate is just so low and you don´t benefit in the same way from 120 agility as you did in bc.
i think in serious pve dual berserking is the way to go if you reach your 315 hit by gear. although it´s a very expensive enchant you should choose carefully which weapon you enchant with a high end enchant.
for good guides i can only say visit elitist jerks

this one helped me a lot

oh and i´m not really sure if mongoose is still 120 agi when you hit level 80, i think i can remember crusader was going down from 100 str @ lvl 60 to 60 str @ level 70.
That with crusader is very true - though mongoose still gives the 120 agility
and what about the procc chance? i think it´s lower as it was on lvl 70. but thanks for the info. really surprised that blizzard ignored it´s own -4% rule per level over enchant level
@ eNoq of course -.-
@ eNoq of course -.-
Berserking MH and Berserking OH. No doubt
mongoose procc chance is now 1ppm instead of 1.2ppm, so its still a good enchant.
but yes dbl berserking > all
but yes dbl berserking > all
Berserking on both main hand and off hand is the way to go.
Thanks for all the pieces of advice!
I got Berserking now and it really does boost your raid dps. I will also take a look at the mutilate specc as I got a lot more epics now that have nice stats but 0 hit rating. Just waiting for another epic dagger to drop...

A link to your character would be nice. :)
