Greetings everyone! Im wondering to start another char, a PvP /arena, 2v2 morely/ healer. In my opinion, in TBC resto druid is the best, but i also like resto shaman.What do you think will the drood still the best pvp healer?or may shammys(or maybe paladins...who knows?xD) could beat them(please dont write such as 'it depends on skillz') if we dont count on the 'character-handle' skills? So what do you think who will overpowered=P, shaman or druid?

so what? they already did in tbc :/ tho as mage you can put up much pressure on the druid forcing to burn tons of his mana

Eh, pala is by FAR the best healer in WotLK.

Druid / Warlock / Pala = teh best in WOTLK imo =D Ret palas prob going to get super nerf tho lol

Druids are quite heavily nerfed compared to before. Lock with 15% SL is quite nerfed aswell, but should be OK at 80.

I think shamans will begin to rise higher on the arena totem poll (no pun intended.)

I was doing skirmishes the other day on beta, and ended up 1 v 2 against a warlock / mage and won as resto.

It just took 20 minutes...

But still, resto shamans survivability is way up now.

As hard as it is to believe, it's very likely that resto shaman will be the best wotlk healers, and that resto druids will actually be subpar in the 2v2 and 3v3 arena brackets come wotlk.

I know it sounds crazy, saying that resto druid won't be very good. But hear me out on this one. Dks are absolute druid molesters, without a doubt. magic damage, the ability to corrupt their hots, etc. will make death knights a huge problem for resto druids. Add the fact that mage damage will be so ridiculous that they'll probobly be able to take down resto druid alone.

My vote for healer's effectiveness in high-end pvp come wotlk is as follows

Resto shaman>Holy paladin>Resto druid>Disc/holy priest

This is all based on speculation, druids could turn out great. Can't be sure yet lol.

Hopefully paladins, they got much needed buffs, the only question is mana atm. And shamans will be by far worst healers imo (their healing power to mana cost is bullshit).
