Hello everyone, and thanks for a sweet forum!

I've been playing my warrior for a long while now (about 3years) And I'm thinking of a Alt.
It shall be a healer, but I haven't decided wich class!

Since I'm lazy right now I want a class that's NOT VERY gear-dependant (Just to start off Karazhan, then its all cake).

I'm thinking mostly of a shaman (Also Since I got a lvl 59 one).

Please help me ;) All ideas WELCOME! :)

Shaman is best if you dont want to be gear dependent, people will take you just for the totems.

if u have it already 59 go shaman, if not and you want to level for expansion, go priest(looking pretty good for pve)

Shaman and druid. Shaman cuz the totems and druid cuz the HOTs

And since my Guild disbanded (Today..) I'm gonna level the shaman now, and completely forget my warrior that has brought me so much fun, trouble and experience.

Druid= Perfekt Hots
Pala=Perfekt Direkt Heal
Schaman= Nice Support Heal +AoE Heal
Priest: Combo with Hotys and Direkt Heal make him to a good allround healer

I know u must play in every Sitation another Taktiks but this here is the Standart HEAL Situations:

Shaman: Earthshild on the Tank and Heal the DDs+Healer with his AoE Heal. Shamans are nice
Supports with her Totems+Bloodlust/Herocism.

Priest: Alround Healer and Undead-CC

Pala: 100% Direkt Heal on the Tank and a littel Support with his Buffs.

Druid: Hots the Tank a bit on the Meeles. He Help them Pala because the Tank can longer life and Pala be able to cast Great Heal ( Holy Light )

Depends, Paladin can stay forever, Shaman is having high healing spells. Priest need's alot of Mp5 to heal alot. You've got druid, that i prefer for high raids. i would likely have more druids then pallys tho :|

We get a CC in the expansion, another reason why people will be bringing Shaman's to instances for example if they lack a CC

Shamans are good raid support with totems and the chain heal is nice for raid heal ;)
But priest is funnier to play ;>>

Druid are such great healers.. Especially in arena

i agree that all the healers are good in there own right but shaman tend to be the highest numbered in a lot of raids guilds because they heal as well in MOST cases but have great buffs. sk uses 4 resto and 1 enhancement most of the time they said in a vidio

nobody says priests ..:/ y find them since the spirit patch to be quite competitive,and even more(deep holy) in expansion

Been a resto druid in high end raids forever. I disagree that druids are only okay for hots on tanks. It's all about the assignment and what heals you use. Basically, on SWP I've been on raid aswell as tank. Don't underestimate the power of Regrowths with some decent spellhaste. The fact is, druids are excellent in adjusting to whatever healing needed.

In no case can you compare healing classes. It all depends on the purpose of your char, I say. If you want PvE ---> what type of healing do you prefer. Shamans are, to my experience, awsome for instant wide raid damage. However, if the raid damage is random spread through the raid, I prefer a druid, which can singletargetheal it better.

I would tell you do start over a druid because of several reason's:

1. For start. they are easy to get 1-70 (7days tops, 5 days speedrun, if you dont got a irl :P)
2. Lvling fast due to Feral, Max dmg + when you need to rest for HP just Hot up your self.
3. When hitting lvl 70, getting easy access to 5man and Raid partys. Either as Tank or Healer (Tank if the party needs it, then you can go for both Healing + Tank gear (LOOT WHOREING :D)
4. If you thinking of pvp laters its the most EASY Class to get a team with:
(2v2 combos)
Druid - Warrior (Ms spam warrior)
Druid - Enhancment Shaman (Mabye if you go Restokin you can team up with a elemental)
Druid - Warlock (Sl / Sl, pefered spec)
Druid - Rogue (Assaination / Combat / Substilty) (Combat / Assaination, is kinda hard due to rogue dies fast)
Druid - Hunter (BM / MM)

At least just in the 2v2 area you got 5/8 Classes to team up with in various spec and setup.

Druids are gear-dependant (imo) my own littel druid with 650 +healing :( (i hittede 70 2 days ago) is able to keep up my 5/5 s3 warlock sl/sl up but its really hard and i die easy (due to resi).

Ill recommend a druid over shaman (i got shaman aswell) for healing.

Druid rules I think againts pala.
playing a pala is so easy and simple. press 2-3 buttons and do your job.
druid is more complicated and joyful in my opinion.

it depends on what you will play on singel target healing it's paladin/druid, on group target its priest shaman or druid(because of there HOT abillities, and druids are verey good at arena i think. And if you are leveling a healing class then i think you should make a druid because they are at least more fun then to lvl a paladin :P

But we will see after the wtlk, because paladins are gona get buffs like shieet :P i think that paladins are gona be the best healing class on 2v2 arena at least after wtlk.

priest (mt or groupheal)
druid (hots @ tank or singletargets)
pala (mt)

all healingclass are good
test or play all @ a ptr oder private realm, than you see whats the best for you, than lvling your favorite on blizz realms =)

Go for druid

Right now I think Shammy is best healer of PVP & PVE. Becoz in 2vs2 arena shammy spamming his/her lesser heal that's so nice. Can stop only Neilyo : ) hehe. but So very well skilled (DEADLY THROW) rogues can kill shammy. Shammy's earth shock is so crazy, so it's really amazing interrupt for caster healers. So shammy's enemy has got one pretty work this is destroy that totems. lol , U guys like to destroy totem ? Actually hard work hehe.

I think shamn is the best because he has much armor and have nice healing crit or u make just a Ultimate Shaman put ur talents in the 1 2 3 bar and u will have and Ultimated shaman))))

shamans are quite versatile and if u play it well is very nice for pvp

priests have lots of utility

cant really comment on druid pve pvp wise quite fun to play

evry healing class have + and -
shaman :totems , armor, NS , earth shield
priest : imba dispel ftw over sl/sl locks ,fear , prayer of mending , buffs
druid: NS, HoTs , bear (stun)or moonkin(dps and mana regen) , imba mana regen, buffs
paladin: few dispels, big heals , bubles and buffs, armor , stun
For pvp u must pick healer good for your class warrior have easiest way he can play with all

shammy dont even stand a chance on arena vs. skilled rouge, basically he's the first target so i would reccomend resto shammy on pve only

Heals for paladin's heals best. If heal and cc druid best. For group heals shaman best.
But priest is not bad healer. Priest is also good .
