i was wondering because there are two types of wind serpent´s.

what serpents do you guys tame, the ones with mana before(caster) oder the ones without mana (non-caster)?

Tame the noone caster one. They got higher stats in terms of survival.

i´m BM, the 5% crit-chance of the caster-version is the only reason why i´m thinking about to tame the caster-one

Maybe the wolve because of Furious Howl Party members within 20 yards of the wolf receive an extra 5% damage to their next Physical attack. Lasts 10 seconds. Or the wasp with Sting Your wasps stings for [rank] Nature damage, and decreases the armor of the target by [rank] for 20 sec. While affected, the target cannot stealth or turn invisible. I believe these two could be a real nice option in raid. What do u guys think about that???

I am interested at which crit %, is viable to use wind serpent.
I have been using cat, but just recently switched to WS and been keeping that on raids.
My wind serpent is non-caster, it's much better for survival ..

Around 35% crit its the best point to start using a Wind Serpent.
And that is easely obtainable as surv.

Except perhaps when I am ready (and geared) to go sunwell, sometimes survival then (does this make me to survive better @@
My crit is currently around 33-34%, using just a little bit of pvp gear mixed with pve.

I made some calculations on last BT run, serpent was little better than last time I used cat, except wind serpent dies often, perhaps my poor skills, or slack healers.

well i dont know about your healers.... but mine preatty much refuse to heal my pet.... so i just throw up mend pet and cross my fingers for a lucky chain heal bounce or if he is in range of CoH

Well some fights you pet dies, some he donst. Its not hard to keep your pet alive on most fights though.

The only HARD fight to keep your pet alive during the hole fight is fights like Archimonde and Felmysth, rest is a cake wake.
