PvE Arms Build.

First and foremost, I do know that Fury is the most beneficial build for end game PvE.

The problem is that Fury just isn't my style. I've always preferred 2-Handed weapons. I've tried Fury, and I just don't have fun with it.

So here's the thing, I've been messing around with the talent calculator and right now, this is my current plan for my 70 build.

I'd like to get any advice from you guys here, especially the end-game warriors, as to what you think of this build and how I can improve it for a PvE End-Game Arms build.

[EDIT]: I should mention that I'm not much of a PvP person so I won't be PvPing much, if at all on the way to 70. And will probably keep the PvP to a minimum even at 70. www.viccol.com

Wrong. Most beneficial is, in fact, arms, as it brings 4% to all physical DPS and that is boost which is hardly ever outweighed by any kind of fury damage. The build I suggest is variable and actually pretty same as V13 posted.

Can't view much in school atm, but 33/28 is the typical build.. althought you might want to put points into imp demo shout and tclap instead of 3/3 heroic strike and 2/5 parry (I did this because I like to pvp)

I dropped imp demo shout for 5/5 UR, I guess some points are your opinion..imp slam and take out all the other random shit.

that's the build. imp intercept really helps a bit in BT, getting back to the mob and boss for increased DPS.

Iron will, of course almost all bosses fear and there IS a slight chance you'll resist it.. good pvp talent as well.

PVP/PVE arms build.

Depending on fight you can also go with 2/5 Imp Demo and 3/5 UW, if you need piercing howl for anything you obviously pick it up aswell, but that is again fight dependant. Don't pick up imp thunder clap if your mt/ot has it, and also there's no real need for imp HS as you won't use it a lot (and when you do, the rage difference shouldn't matter at all). 5 % parry is obviously mandatory as a dps warrior should help with offtanking on trash and such.

As for arms vs fury it really depends on your raid setup, should just play whichever you prefer more as the difference generally isn't huge with the same quality gear. Obviously you'll suffer a lot more if you lack windfury as arms than as fury, but hopefully your guild has a (preferably enhancement) shaman in the melee group.

As for pvp and such, I would never ever try to make a hybrid build just to save some gold on respeccing, when you raid you should do your best, and that involves optimizing your spec depending on which encounter(s) you're doing.

All valid points here, if you only have 1 dps warrior stick him arms, if you have 2 or more stick everything over number1 fury.

Also if you want to have any shot at doing respectable dps as arms you need to have some type of swingtimer addon (example: quartz) in order to time your slams good.

I would actually suggest getting the Doc Swinger addon over Quartz, small difference but knowing exactly how you're doing in slam time can help you a lot imo - I certainly saw an increase in performance after switching to it.

33/28 is a build.
About gear:
Sux for you that you don't like pvp, because guardian/brutal (vindicator/merciless) are in most cases best you can obtain.
There is no better items for arms from kara, only sword and trinket from zul'jin and ring from 3rd chest in ZA (ring now sux, cause angelista for badges + guardian is better).
Nothing good in gruul/mag also, from SSC/TK probably also only sword from Kael'thas.
Trinket from MgT heroic is good also.

Then it goes hyjal with archimonde sword and leather chest (and probably shoulders from 3rd or 4th boss, that are better than merciless; brutal are something time/skill dependant to obtain) + kael/vashj/MH exalted ring.
Then it goes BT with some T6, bloodboil legs and illidan trink, and ofc then sunwell where most items are better than guardian/brutal for pve.
