Imp Demo question

Just a quick Question.. i saw on the KJ video that u used CoR, yet when i inspected the specs of your warriors no one has specced into imp demo... atm I am forced to do it as the Arms warrior wich isnt ideal for my personal rotation ( loosing UW hurts rage gen, and applying demo looses me a GCD).. i guess as fury its much easier to apply and integrate in the setup.

how do you cope with that

Kil'jaeden doesn't do any melee damage, so Demo Shout is wasted on him. :)

As for other bosses, we kinda out-gear them, so the little extra damage the tank takes we can easily heal.

Pretty much what Fafhrd said in regards to the Kil'Jaeden fight. As for in general, improved demoralizing shout fits better into a fury dps rotation than an arms warrior, but it hurts the dps more when played right due to fury being hurt more by the loss of UW than arms. An arms warrior can easily keep demoshout up without hurting his dps cycle bar unfortunate resists, so if you want to hurt the dps as little as possible, give the task to the arms warrior.

I am playing the Arms Warrior in my guild, we're on Felmyst atm, and i specc imp demo just for Brutallus, on the first tries i still had my old spec and managed to get to 1900+ dps with relative ease.. with imp demo i struggle going over 1500-1600, depending on resists, but also rage gen and the loss of the GCD is dropping me closer to the retradin and SP's that are on the lower end of the damage done meters.

do you fight brutallus with CoR and without imp demo ?

we managed to kill him 2 times now without enhancement shammy from our 5 kills, and im pondering to let imp demo out of my specc next week to see if healers are up to it,, or do you think the additionial normal demo shout duty on the tanks rotation is loosing them too much thread ( 30 sec CD, tank phase is about 36 secs so he has to shout at least once while tanking and ofc keeping it up durin the druid tank phase)

Keeping up demo shout as a tank is np, fitting improved shout into your spec is. I really have a hard time seeing how keeping it up as arms is an issue, seeing as you only ever use 3 global cooldowns outside slam anyways, and you fit those fine in between swings. Whenever BS is up, or WW or MS is off cooldown, you arent using your GCD for anything anyways, and this is where you fit DS into your rotation.

One alternative is to have a hunter use an owl for the screech debuff, seeing as it stacks with DS
