hey i just started raiding as bm changed over from survival

any way my guild is doing sunwell currently 2/6

but i myself havent gone in there due to gear ( in the process of gearing up)

now my question is any idea what kind of numbers i should be punching out with my current gear?

also i have heard from multiple people and have looked at some of sk's hunters and i see that they use the blitz bow but then from other people i hear that the badge crossbow is best for bm

so i dont know which to get, i dont wanna waste 150 badges(even tho they come so fast :P)

but i could use them for gems or that angelitas ring

anyway would really appreciate it if i got ur guys input on this

Well I'm not a SK hunter but I'm a beast master and also I'm using the crossbow from queldanas.
All I can say is that 2.8AS plus BM spec (i mean serpent's swiftness) equal high dps.

yes but what about using the 3/2 macro with the blitz bow

btw i'm using 1:1. so far it's working fine

you can probably kick about 1800-2000dps on this char. There's various reasons for using the non badge bows but they are all really good items (including the badge one). sometimes race comes into it also (troll with bow) and the speed base + the amount of haste you have to hit the steady shot sweet spot.

You use the 3:2 macro when you got 4-set t6 bonus (+10% steady shot dmg). The badge crossbow is very good but if you have the Dragonspine trophy + madness of the betrayer combo a 3.0 is far superior. Try to adapt to every fight there is at the moment, with the right group setup you can do amazing dps.

And the 1:1 is best for bows with 2.80 attack speed such as badge bow?

3:2 is better in all cases until a speed of 2.7 (and less). During procc (DST / Rapid fire / Quick Shot....) switch in 1:1.5 (Multi priority with AS and MultiS.).

Go with blizz / black bow , and use a 3:2 rotation

Ie. this macro
/cast !Auto Shot
/cast Steady Shot
/cast [target=pettarget, exists] Kill command
/cast [target=pettarget, exists] Lightning Breath(Rank 6)
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

and spam the shit out of it
If you go oom, whine at paladins for not keeping up wisdom, or whine at yourself for not poting enogh

Thats what ill do anyway
for pets, dunno what your using atm. but with that gear it can be a good choice to go with a wind serpent, since your geting so many crits = more energy to pet = more LB's
(also if your the only hunter using 1, you get full benefit from the ench shammy you most likely got)

well the more haste you get, the closer you get to a 1:1 rotation.
With no haste your doing 3:2 rotation, so there inst a optimal number of haste for a 3:2 rotation.

And the perfect attack speed is like around 1.7-1,8 depending on how your latency ingame is :o

Well the badge bow is shit for 1:1 rotation if you ask me, if you dont have ANY haste at all. Its a decent bow for 1:1 rotation if you got like the polearm from sunwell trash.
Seeing it as you dont have the polearm, i would go with a 3:2 rotation with Black bow or Blitz striker.

But imo black bow / bliz striker, and a 3:2 rotation, is still better even when you get the polearm.
