Hey guys..
From 1-69 I played as an enhancement shammy to help me level faster, and for all my entire play time of being a shamman at 70 was being resto. I recently respeced to elemental because i was getting really bored of resto, but i find it hard to play as an elemental. back when i was resto warriors, hunters, and rogues would be no problem killing, but now as a elemental, it seems almost impossible for me to kill...

I know its because it might be the fact that i have been playing resto all my life and im not use to elemental, so im asking you guys, any of you guys that are elemental shammys to help me out...
i kno the style of play is A LOT different, but i need some guides on how to play my character...also videos will help out a lot...

i am a pvp base, but with the way i play, i should just quit, but im determine to understand and am willing to practice to improve my skills as an elemental shammy...

and i do have decent gears, my friend boxes his 3's so he let me in his team to get my s3 mace, im currentlt 4/5 s3 and s3 weapon, but if you were to duel me, you'd think i had ebay my account, lol...

Basically against warriors you have to burst them down very quick. Refresh lighning sheild constantly, use fire nova totem every cooldown, CL every cooldown.

Rogues are very tricky, but if u can try and kite them, trinket, poison cleansing, earthbind etc, use flame shock alot.

Hunters, Frost shock and stand on them and cast LB / CL.

Your very limited in alone as an eleemental shaman, the key is using ur shocks to your advantage and using your burst at the right times.

An elemental shaman in arena fights should not do many damages.. The most part of your time you'll purge, purge, earthshok (rank1) on a healer and in the good moment ! burst !

Elemental shaman are good in team but in duel isn't really the best.... you are good with your restau shaman because rogue/warrior can't purge and it's easy to win in this way..

i see your point ganon, thank you for your replay mafay, i completely forgot about lightning shield... :P

oh, if your interested in arena fights too then most of what ganon said is true. Most of your time is spent purging the enemey and earth shocking and CC/heals. If you are left alone by the enemey it doesnt hurt to spam lightning bolts into a target to really pressure them into defensive play.

Well atleast warriors shouldnt be a big problem. I can almost kite them with frostshock up. And against rogues i simply would place a stoneskin totem, with your s3 equip they should only make 60-100 dmg with normal hits.

ah yeah and last thing don't forget to use lightning rank 1 if you haven't mana and you can't regen because you can have clearcast with a crit ;)

Against warriors, don't try to kite them. Just stand and keep bursting them. They'll always be on your ass with hamstrings and intercept/charge. fire nova whenever CD is up, refresh lightning shields, and keep casting lightning bolts. Pummeled? Frost shock him and whack him with flametongue on your weapon. Warriors cant heal themselves so you're at an advantage.

As for rogues, you'll never consistently beat any rogue unless you're resto spec. That's just the way it is.
