how does the new rep pvp gear stand up to s1-s3? is it really worth looking into if im just now starting to arena?

guess hes talking about the "old" blue pvp gear that can be purchased by faction reputatuin now.
well, its IS worth looking into if you want to start arena on a new toon.
it kinda depends on your class, as a high foucs target such as warlock priest or shaman you cant really afford to wear pve gear without resilience a lot, as a druid / rogue etc. its a different story.

save your honor for s1 weapons and 2 pieces
( most likely gloves for the bonus and chest or helm for max sockets ), if your a high focus target use some of the blue stuff, otherwise getting some easy kara loots or other pve stuff will be a lot faster for a arena quikstart.

one more thing, if you just start arena now save points, s4 will be around in 1-2 months and it would be wise to save until 5k points for a real good start in s4

well i'm buying it on my alt for sure, cuz im saving honor for s2 when s4 comes. So i just bought trinket, medailon of aliance and s3 ring for honor.

I personnally think its similar to S1,your better off getting S1 because some of the items are indeed actually better then the new faction gear. The set bonus are the same so i think S1 still beats the new faction pvp gear

yeah sure s1 beats the new pvp items, but the thing is, this items you can buy for money, not honor. And also buying s1 now is a waste of honor, cuz maybe in like 1 month, u can buy s2 for honor

Yea. it really depends if you pvp hardcore, or you just pvp casually
