What do you prefer Maces or Swords with Shadowstep? and post you reasons please ;)
I like swords because ur skin is more cool than maces, but the top dmg is less than maces.

It doesn't matter, go with swords if you like the way the look better. They both are the same speed and have same dps, that means they both have the same AVERAGE DAMAGE. If you are ever going to raid, swords is better. If you arent, go with maces for the off chance that mace spec is viable again.

If you are a lucky guy, pic maces cause they have higher top dmg but lower minimum dmg (eg. 300 top 100 mini) swords 250 top 150 min (not the correct stats just explaining how it is :P

S3 swords look like chodes and S3 maces look like broccoli.
If you wanna own them with two short penises go with swords.
If you want to own them with vegetables go with maces.

Why would the look of a weapon deter you from getting it?

If you've got the older weapons (Normal Gladiator) the First weapons have a higher top end damage and SLIGHTLY more dps. I'd go with them.

Your Aiming for maces, Top dmg is better for PvP. Your hardly ever constently swinging behind somebody unless your have them in stunlock. You want the big hits when you need them for extra pressure on your focus target.

maces = high hits, but also alot of LOW hits. I dont think it makes a big difference. I also think that mace spec wont be viable for pvp again after the AR from prep nerf.

Go with swords, useable in pve aswell.

I would go maces because of the stun proc, i consider it verry helpful in arena's and pvp in general mace stun FTW.

you can look at all the pros and cons but they just balance out and it comes down to nothing more than which ones you think look better (unless of course you pve then ya...) or hey, be origonal and get the fists, same thing as maces for shs but they look pretty badass

Humans racial is "increased exeprtise with swords and maces". So less chance your target dodge or parry your attacks.

Okay maybe got u wrong. just wanted to hint on the fact, that your expertise with swords is increased just as its increased with maces.

i bought the maces first week of s3, because of the existining powerfull harp build back then...

Right now i wish i had swords, because of looks and usage for pve.

But if something is uglier, but better for pvp, id still take it

skin doesn't matter , u dont make a parade ffs.

Skin does matter, everyone know that you determine your gear by looks not by their stats.

Looks > stats, always been like that and always will.

If you want to PvE with them too, take Swords.

I picked Sword 'cos min-max damage range is narrower compared to Maces. It has more chances of hitting near the average damage but then again it's based on luck. Other than that it's a matter of preference.
