Hunter/Priest/Lock
can anyone tell me how to play hunter/priest/warlock? our dps is confused on what to do and most of the time its random. are we suppose to focus on the dps or the healer or split the dps between the healer and the dps? Does anyone know what were supposed to do?
Well since you're a drain team you just have to keep constant damage on everything, warlock has to keep dots up all the time on as many target as possible, to force the enemy healer in los.
Your CC doesn't get affected at all by the damage either, so just keep constant damage and you'll probably get the other team oom before you. Hunter shoot at whatever target's most suitable for him, don't waste time trying to stick to a target.
Haven't played the setup myself but that would be the way I play it atleast :) Keep CC'ing their dps also, and just chain burn the healer while you keep the damage up.

when you say dots up on as many targets as possible does that mean the hunter wont ever use freeze trap?
it really depends on who your playing, if you are playing 1 healer w/ a priest healer i would suggest perhaps trying to use a ice trap to mitigate damge done but in all reality you are going to use the big frost aura trap and for the love of god i hope your hunter has some points in entrapment and improved stings. most teams are going to attack your lock which will cause them to use this trap to kite their dmg. its the responsibilty of the hunter to protect the first target using scatter wing clip and traps since their mana drain only requires one instant of attention every 15 seconds. other teams are going to be more difficult and may require you to bait a hunter or a paladin into a trap since if they are good the effect will be dispelled.
in the case of a druid its really important that you pump out a ton of dmg on everybody to force him out of losing everybody and sitting in bear if your priest can catch that druid w/ a aoe fear while he's healing that gives him and the lock plenty of time to absolutely rape his manna pool. all of the pending you have successfuly cc'd the dps enough or losing it enough to do so. i have run this team realy successfully into the mid high 1900's, but gets real difficult past that because of the popularity of Druid, Rogue, War.

this version is better with a druid than a priest, as usual, but it's basically a kite and drain fest. Having abolish poison and travel forms make this much more effective than having the third drainer.
