wc3 TFT and ROC came but still some ppl play sc, and WoW came and i still play WC3 i guess SC2 will come and i play all of these games except starcraft BW. and not because its graphic sux or its too old cuz my vista has some fucking problem ith that! lol

counter-strike never dies im pretty sure about that. If i really have to answear something then I pick DOTA.

Games like wc3 and SC would be played but not on official tournaments I guess, it will become retro games or classic games. :)

the thing is .... WC3 IS NOT DEAD YET ! there must be many years until this hell of a game disappear.. there are lots thousands of gamers who are playing and will be playing wc3 for long times..

-dota will transform in league of legends so i cant really say what happens here. But if the game keeps the gameplay like in dota .. sure it will rise in great game and will be played in official tournaments like a mega hit!

as for WOW we all know that isnt what it was in the past. due to arena patching becomes more competitive and i see wow future like not so popular competition game...

the game that will disappear and wont die or be forgotten but will be kept in museum of legendary games is SC:BW and will be remembered as one of the greatest games of all times !

StarCraft: Brood War will become the equivalent of WarCraft II: Battle.net edition. WarCraft III will become a bit smaller than what StarCraft currently is. DotA will pretty much be the dominating soul of WarCraft III until the mysterious IceFrog creates DotA SCII.

World of Warcraft has an independent power source, it will need the next Blizzard MMO to kick it off the market. My friend Paperkat has been expressing interest in joining the StarCraft II sensation, (that's something considering he was the former WoW PvP champion.)

Brood War will most likely die with very few people still playing it. Warcraft 3 will have a way smaller community. So is DotA but it'll sure stay up and running since it's really not the same kind of game as Warcraft and Starcraft

WoW sure won't die anytime soon even with a next MMO. Blizz will make WoW die by themselves when they'll stop making patches and expansions but until then it'll stay the most popular game by far. :p

Dota first l think and after Wow. And cs will survive everything coz its simple and almost perfect don't need stupid expensions to keep it up etc..

I recently asked IceFrog about a separate first-party retail version of DotA for store shelves and this was his response.



From the sound of it, DotA will become its own game after Warcraft III dies. So if IceFrog keeps it up, we may see DotA gaining its own power source.
