Replays and Korean leagues

i am wondering why there are no replays released from several korean or chinese tournaments. most of there tournaments only releases the vods of the games.
i just wanna ask if some1 got any information why they are only releasing the vods and not the replays, is it just because of the advertisment or what?

Because the replays are copyrighted by blizzard and they cant disturubute them for their own gain using their own trademark or something like that :P The vods though aint copyrighted by blizzard so they are free for all.

They sell sponsors slot on VODs and Stream, and it's expensive. (Intel advertising, Kappa logos on maps etc.)

How many ppl would launch ppstream if replays were available the day after. Less. You don't download football games, you watch them on TV and the advertising as well.

Most of the korean tournaments will be broadcasted on tv. If they release the replays no one will watch it on tv

The ostensible excuse of the all Korean organizations such as Ongamenet, MBCgame and Nicegametv (AWL) is that if KeSPA (Korea e-Sports Association) is involved in the event, it is stictly forbidden to release replays by the rules of KeSPA.

well, I think they just don't like to spread replays for VOD. :D
