Someone who plays War3 for his first time can beat a professional War3 gamer?
First of all, he doesn't have any experience, for which he doesn't have many chances to win.
He doesn't know the building order, his race's advantages and disadvantages and lots of other stuff that he has to know if he wants to play "good".

Dont get me wrong. I play DOTA too and i lik it. But the fact is that DOTA is just an easy version of wc3 for those who get angry to be beaten constantly in the ladder.I know too many dota pros who cant get more wins than losses in ladder. Anyway i play some DOTAs cause it helps me to relax after some hard solo games. Consider that i got even a sponsorhip from an i-cafe for playing dotas while never got something like that from wc3.

dota should have been stayed as a funmap, its not balanced... (too many items/heros)
well ok it takes less to be good at dota since u only have 1 hero and need the right equipment to win, but dota really can be fun when playin with some friends

In almost ever possible way to compare what takes skill, wc3 completely dominates dota... i dont even see why you would compare it? The games are very different, but aside from that wc3 takes way more scouting... PLACING A SENTRY WARD IS LIKE THE EASIEST FORm OF SCOUTING YOU CAN IMAGINE....... while in wc3 YOUR BLADEMASTER IS CONSISTENTLY WITH THE OTHER PERSONS ARMY.... YOU HAVE UD WHO USES SHADES... SKELETONS SCOUT, ALL SUMMONS, WHISPS ON TREES, OMG I CAN GO ON and on.... but i dont want to... any noob retarded dota player that thinks dota in ANY way requires more skill then wc3.... is just a fucking laugh. LOL
btw remember when.. who was it? MYM]CIARA entered some dota tourny.... he said he only practised for 3 weeks... guess which team got 1st place -_-

What do you mean by noobs? Those who are noob at dota, or dota players in general? If you hate dota players in general, then do you, by any chance, think Madfrog is a noob? He played dota too, you know. And if you hate noobs at dota, then so do I; they're annoying team mates. But on the contrary, I like them as enemies. :)

If you really believe that you can compare different games like this. If you believe for a fact that anyone can become great in Dota in notime, which leads you to believe that there would be a billion clans all having 50% chance of winning eachother since they all reach the same skillevel in no time due to the "no skill required factor" while in reality basically no clans ever beat the two best clans (VP & MYM). VP & MYM lose less often than Moon or Grubby do when in their best shape.
If you believe all this than you are among people who are not intelligent enough to become a top player in any game what so ever that requires intelligence. You will also create/support topics like these never understanding how lost you are.

Even if a game requires no skill, given enough players, to become good in it, you will have to be skilled. If everyone can become skilled so that they all win 50% of the time, then no one is good but average. However, sooner or later, someone will think of something new that will give him an advantage over others. Think of it like evolution. It's just that to an outsider, the little things that make a player skilled rather than average, are not so obvious. That is why an SC player thinks WC3 is simple and noobish, and a WC3 player that DotA is simple and noobish.
There are limits to this of course, for example, take noughts and crosses on a 3x3 board: there can't be very large differences in skill.

Exactly. What you write is the point I am making in my post. You should read it again since you are pretty much making a copy of my post but with other words and replying to me with it ;)
I basically say that if someone really believes Dota requires "no skill", by logic you will also believe that everyone will be equally good after some time which is obviously not true since the skilldifferences between clans/players in Dota community are the same as the skilldifferences between clans/players from other communitys like WC3 or SC.
In all of the these communities there are skillevels, like in any competetive community be it sports, e-sports, chess and to the contrary of some ignorant peoples believes, even in dota. If skillevel 1 is the best its basically like this.

Spectator something that everyone can do it is boring
in soccer game we have technic that normal people cannot do it
so it attract to watching as top e-sports gaming we have headshot in CS , multitask micro in WC3
but dota don't have

Obviously the same applies to dota. That is why if YOU put together a Dota team with your friends there is thousands of teams that will own your team which in turn will be owned by alot of others even better teams and it goes on and on like this all the way to the best two dota clans MYM & VP. Just like in any other game/sport.
Ofcourse, just like in any other game/sport you actually need to be a decent plater yourself to actually understands all the skills people have when watching a replay/match. Even so, to really see the difference between a top10 Football player and a top1000 you also need to play or watch alot of football yourself. You obviously lack skills in dota.
If I watched a game of Polo it wouldn't matter if it was one of the worst teams or one of the best. I would just see a bunch of idiots on horses with no chance to see who is better than the next one. I also understand the fact that the reason why everything looks the same to me is because I suck at Polo, not because Polo is a "OMFG NO SKILL SPORT".

Btw it was 2nd place and nobody good took place in that tourney.
Kanga and snzVenom got 1st place with Shadow Fiend Tinker.
Maelk and Ciara got 2nd place with Furion Pugna.
Like it matters which game needs more skill, theory gives it that it only matters if you dominate in it.

somebody in here obviously never saw my broodmother surrounds.
anyway dota is niceh and saying noob dota players can beat pro dota is pretty much bs, been playing non stop dota for 3 weeks now and already played a lot in the past like last summer and the year before, yet i get raped 3 out of 4 ihcs2 games and the moment ihcs1 players join you can see them dominating the game most of the time so its obvious there is a LOT of skill involved, else they wouldnt be able to make the difference every single game, seeing players have cs stats over 100 in 20 minutes when your happy with ~40 says pretty much everything and scouting is definately more important in dota than in wc3, in wc3 you can play pretty much blind since you know where your opponent is 9/10 times if your a decent player cause of your feeling for the game, dota is totally random cause the situation is completely different every single time cause of a different set of enemy hero's and them playing on different lanes, if they have a happy gang set of hero's you pretty much scout all the time since missing anything for even 10 seconds can result in stun stun....FIRST BLOOD, but a side from all that i still think that its harder to become the best wc3 player in the world than one of the best dota players, and i'm also positive good wc3 players can become really good at dota as well and play it at the highest level after a shitload of practise, yet the best dota player will never even come close to being the best wc3 player.
