Time is money.. ; ) seems like SK wants to establish an up-to-date high competitive team along with the release of their new site. It's like SK is doing a renovation and wants to get the wheels up and running.

They have probably planned the release of HoT and XlorD even before the WC3L finals. That is shown cause they made some nice results, but are still let loose. Actually, I think their gathering of a European powerhouse with the merge of .ger and .int division was just an experiment and now they stick to the good ol' merc strategy. Obviously it works and right now that is all that matters. SK is the best in the world in WC3 and CS 1.6 (recently beat fnatic who are currently ranked #1 by GG, I think? Anyway, the game was very close and cs is random I know. You get my point..) and they certainly wants to keep it that way. Therefore it's logical to predict new additions to the team after inactivity from Inso and the departure of XlorD.

i think xlords contract has expired, same like hots and sk doesnt wanted to put so much money on the wc3 team, since i think remind, lyn and soju are very very expensive. thats just another reason why they keep miou and inso, they are both not in the really best shape and that means they dont get such high salaries, just my opinion. but its so haaaaaaaaaaaaaardcooooooooooooore sad for me that xlord left or will leave sk because i became a fan of sk since i watched the first games of xlord in sk. he was the main reason for me to cheer for sk, of course i got a little into the whole team with my fan-mind^^ but only because xlord was there :( i hope he joins the same team like tod cause he is my 2cnd fav player :) hope to see you in wc3L again soon ixi! love ya! ;D

I'm not convinced SK kicked hot and xlord , I think it's the other way round and they have left SK for whatever reasons. Why would SK keep miou and kick xlord? That doesn't make any sense since xlord has a lot more potential as miou.

I'm going to speculate here, but I think hot feels he didn't get to play enough with all the korean additions, and being in a clan with a lot of (semi) country mates is probably more attractive to him as a bunch of koreans. Also hot leaving is probably the reason for xlord leaving, since he would also be left with only koreans who are pretty much their own clique.

Yeah, I guess HoT saw the transition to Gravitas as a perfect fit. But I think connecting HoT's departure with XlorD's is a matter of wild guessing as we don't know what happens on the inside, like if they are getting along and such :P. Or as you said, perhaps the "left-overs" wasn't as tempting as the life of a free agent. OR they didn't find an agreement on the salary and XlorD chose to decline the offer. Probably a mixture of many factors.

I doubt reign will come to SK. Reis planned this move for a long time now yet Reign was the only one to say pass on it.

My bet is on mTw as they offer him a good environment and a place he could develop further more and prove himself.

So in your logic, its better to be a middle level Euro team with no results , than a professional int. team which dominates WC3L, NGL and also international Solo competitions. n1, heaton, madfrog etc.

In my logic it's not clear for how long the 3 koreans will dominate WC3L,NGL etc. Also for me it's not clear for how long they are going to stay in SK if they don't get higher salaries after every big win.Because that's what happened with them in WE....

thats not the sk-team i want to cheer for. With Hot and iXi leaving and maybe another korean joining, i can also cheer for an other korean team like mym. SK is a european based clan and should express this fact also in their lineups. Worst decission ever letting Hot and iXi go.
