wtf is th000 doing so high on your lists.
Playing in LB all along in PGL and then "suddenly" he was in finals against Moon when he never won either of Lyn or Sky.
+ his performance in finals vs moon was just mass towerrush. Not vety impressive tbh. All it shows us is that we need a patch that nerfs towers. (Most of us knew this allready).
Th000 lost twice to TargA right before PGL ^^ also he sucked at ROTK.

if it hadn't been for his run in PGL I would place th000 down with the others at #5

TH000 really impressed lately, sorry. His MK usage is a piece of art imo. Also his style is quite entertaining and he can play other races too!

Sky & Moon won all along and was in WB with 2-0 most of the time which is very impressive indeed.
Th000 stumbled and lost numerous times in the tour.
And his wins was 2-1 etc. His final vs Moon was 3-2.
Conclusion: yes th000 played impressive in PGL, but he wouldn't have won with normal Double elimination system which we know from ESWC or WCG. That would have caused him to be eliminated after his second loss.

Imo top 5 noobs and nerd is the same, most of noobs play hard to be pro then it make them a nerd :)

1. ToD (only one to achieve anything pre "tower era"
2. Sky (skilled player, but he never really shined until humans started using towers a lot more)
3. Infi (so much towering :( )
4. TH000 (Wasn't impressed by his playstyle in PGL and I'm not a fan of MK first as it seems pretty abusive, MK + Pally and invul pots, etc. is pretty bad as well)

Not really a fan of any humans at the moment, then again I can't say I'm impressed with the play styles a lot of the players are using these days.

ya, that sucked a bit too. (PGL system sux)
but Moon still had to face both Sky and ToD again, and he beat them both so it's not quite the same as th000's insane "bracketluck" this year

I can safely say you did not start following the scene until 2007
Sky was famous for his push strat against elf (4-0 remind @ acon5 final, 3-2 moon WEG2or3 3rd place decider all thx to this strat) and was the first one to use mass casters against orc. For human mirror he invented bloodmage as 2nd hero and the currently popular panda 2nd strat. He single-handedly revolutionized the human strategy system when others like inso and tod were still using rifles and catsers. And its not exaggerated to say he came at the time when human was considered by far the weakest race.

Sky never showed the consistency back then that he shows today. I said he was a skilled player, but I wouldn't have considered him one of the best players until recently, he just wasn't beating other top players consistently enough. Sky's big turn around in my mind came when he started pushing orcs with casters + towers.
