Why do you hate Grubby?
Once and for all. WHY DO YOU HATE GRUBBY???
My possible reasons:
-he's from nl
-he's white
-he's manner low (laugh about aids and flamed host)
-he has no skill
-he only wins random online tournaments

I don't. People flame him only because he has a lot of fans. If you flamed some random like... i dunno... Xyligan, nobody would care and you wouldn't be able to inflate your e-go with returned flames. Kids flame Grubby because they are attention starved and he has the most fans on a European site like this.
If senti and co could speak Chinese or Korean they would probably flame Sky or Moon instead.

because he has by far the most annoying fanboys EVER.
it was pretty funny how replayers.com used to top every single game Grubby managed to win. most of the time he lost the bo3 but of course they took the 1 game he won and they made it instantly top. usually it contained nothing but base hit n' run with raiders and if you pointed it out that it wasn't worth top, a fucking legion of angry nuthuggers came charging at you calling you an idiot and a noob for not rating the replay 10/10 like they did

Grubby has been playing on the top levels for ages and had a time period of 2-3 years where he was labeled by most people to be almost unbeatable.
He was one of the only top european players that could handle korean players when leagues like OGN and MBC were at their prime . As a leader of 4K his team become almost legendary by their ridiculously long win streaks , successes and their stability in their team, playing for several years with a almost constant lineup.
I don't consider Grubby an idol or something like that, all I say is that he deserves respect for attending in the high competition scene for so long, which only a few other people managed to do.
Sure he has gotten worse, it is only natural that all people at some point stop playing at their respective highest level and so their skill level drops.But considering him a noob and an unsignificent player is simply narrow minded. This can not be backed up by rationality but only by stupid hate, ignorance and stupidity.
And for his manners, I believe only a few people here really have the right to judge him. I don't consider him to be the perfect nice guy, but he seems very honest to me and that's what matters.

Grubby is hated because of his consistency and the way he won the people's hearts. Many people became his fans and that just pisses of everyone else that don't like his style. Same in football, a player becomes famous, and immediately 2 types of groups appear - the one that really love him, or really hate him.... thats how the world goes can't help it =] And if it is Grubby today it could be someone else tomorrow..

I have to agree on something: Im not interested in Cassandra's photos at mym web and stuff like "summer in somewhere" or "a happy day with my boyfriend at somewhere".
But it's ok, I don't have to read that, they write about their lives because people are interested on them. Other than that, I don't understand why people hate him so much. Maybe hardcore fans who would like him to win everything, or envy...

ppl usually cheer for the underdog
ppl want him to feel bad so they themselves would feel better and/or superior
most ppl are attention whores that want to be "famous", what better way than to get a lot of hate towards oneself - really puts you on the spotlight

actually the only reason I cheer for Grubby now is cause he's the underdog in most of the games he plays.
But yeah, I had doubts for a long time how a bunch of online nerds can actually be that retarded, spending 20 hours a day on multiple scene sites with multiple accs just to hate on one random gamer who might have some annoying attitudes (fanboys and whining). I thought they had to be fooling around and trolling, but looking at the amount of time they invest into all this (mass accs, mass posts, mass flames, mass bans, mass Wiki updates) they are actually genuine. Or they think they are trolling, but actually they are trolling themselves thinking they are somehow better than anyone else here while they spend the whole day hating or acting like they hate some random internet celebrity.

no, i don't hate him. and i don't "hate" his fanboys either, I just think a good portion of them are annoying fucking idiots who can't see past their HUGE bias.
plus, it's kinda hard to like Grubby's (raider hit & run) playstyle. basically it doesn't differ at all from the Human mass tank shit that everybody complains and bitches about, but ironically when Grubby does it, it's suddenly "good strategy" and "smart play". give me a break

I actually have to say the first time I met Grubby was not the best, but after talking and meeting him several times I discovered he's a very cool and interesting guy, has alot to say and not just about gaming.
