So recently I was bored and feeling narcissistic and installed wc3 up again, played a few games to get the feel back (massed dryads to see if it still works lol) and went to download replays from the pro scene.

Moon vs lyn, lucifer vs remind, sky vs remind. just some of the replays from which the map directories and names were so convoluted and though i put the maps in the so called correct order, the nsl2 pack was not working at all, i experienced similar problem with ngl maps but that was easier to fix.

I havent been following the scene for a while, but what the hell is wrong with these hosts and tournaments. I didnt notice too many changes in the maps for the replays that did work so why cant they host the regular map??

Imo i think they need to impose stricter policy for maps and how messy the directories can get. I dont want to sound pessimistic but with a very tortuous map system, maps being rigged can be more easily be hidden as well.

i dont know, it could just be a pet peeve of mine, but i think viewers need to be given a less frustrating time in viewing the replays
