actually, everybody can access it or even ping it already... my friend showed it to me and he did something in his windows console first... cant remember what, still, he`s already connected to westfall but not playing on it nor able to join it... he simply can ping it and has it in his realm-chosing-screen like on the pic. (and that was like 1 week ago)

Yeah simple, it's probably just the domain that is still live. When the bring westfall.battle.net down it doesn't mean they shut the server off, that would be impractical, it merely means it's resources are used to be handled in different ways. What this "patch" that you have to upgrade to will add Westfall to your available realmlists. It's a document stored either in the .mpq or out in the open upon which the patch / you can edit. When you edit that and add it, you can make a connection. For them to bring the patch server up, they probably reinstall bnet on the servers or turn it on and give it a different version. So yeah, 13thMonkey, what your friend is doing is merely showing you that the stuff exists, it's just not available for use yet. It's like walking past an unopened store yet. You know there is a store there, you're just not allowed inside yet. That's the best analogy I can give, apologies for my vagueness in detail. That is all.
