Grubby won all kinds of tournaments before, WCG, EuroCup, WSVG ($20,000 + rolex), WEG.. you name it! And he's constantly in top 3 in many other LAN tournaments. IMO, this is a very respectable record, nothing that sounds as noob as you said.

as far as i know was the best paid tournament ever in wc3 the WEG Masters 2006 and if i remember right it took place in china .... the players in the final were 4K^Grubby vs 4K^Tod :)
so as u see he was able to reach a final in a tournament that was played in china xD
that were just some nonrelevant memorys....
