At first you won't be able to play on the same level and quite often you will think:
"If I had only played with my main race... I' would have beaten him so easily".
That's quite normal. If you really want to change races play random at first, then pick the one you like most and stick to it for some weeks. Also watch replays, try to perfect the build orders and creeping paths etc.

Random is the best race by miles - your opponent never knows what to expect and almost HAS to play cookie-cutter, giving you a huge advantage if your micro is decent (which mine isn't :()

just dont try orc, you will think that you have become the master of micro, with losing no units at all, great is the dissapointment, when you find out it wasnt your micro but imba-link, imba-chainheal and heal&speed scrolls that made it for the opponent impossible to kill any units.

Thats the reason why I ceased playing warcraft for an year .Now when I look at top replays I feel even worse about human.Its hilarious that your best unit is your tower ... Human gameplay is not what it used to be once ... good old times

it is impossible to kill elf units even without imbaheal (Reju , moonwells ) , imbalink (bears/dryads/DH need link ?) , imbaspeedscroll (passive dryads skill)...

Many pro-players switch to elf for some maps cause its so easy to handle.
