February 29th, 2008 - I appreciate the patience of the community and the patch is still in testing. The patch is being worked on at its fastest pace and no amount of spam or unconstructive posts on the forums will speed up that process. I know the process has been lengthy, but at this point, it is up to the developers to create a solid patch that will improve the Warcraft III experience. When they have updates on that process, I will let you know.

Yea, it appears they are putting some real effort in this patch and hopefully it turns out to be massive, maybe even adding new hero or some real balance changes.

It would be total bullshit if they come out with a patch and change log is like :

increased dryad cost by 10 gold
staff cooldown increased by 5 sec
tanks give 10 more expirience

even with these small changes i would be satisified!

They are discussing about which trees to remove or add. There's a lot of possibilities so it takes a lot of time.

I think the patch will come next year. I shouldn't do this but I just love you guys so freakin much that I'll give you a preview of the change log:

All maps have been converted to similar maps in space.
Creeps have been removed.
Footman is now called marine.

They won't patch at all. They just keep you guys involved into the scene till SC2 comes out.

hope they will add a new ladder system that is actually good and make ladder level count for something again, that would be awesome : )

poor hard working Karune deleted all patch related topics in the battle.net forum yesterday.
I guess the beloved community he's managing was putting too much pressure on him. Give him another year or so. No stress.

i tried 2 smell this retard patch but it doesn't float on water.
