January 29th, 2008 - Today, the eSports Team is meeting with Rob Pardo, (Senior Vice President of Game Design), and Chris Sigaty, (Lead Producer of StarCraft II), Dustin Browder (Lead Designer of StarCraft II),and David Kim (Balance Designer of StarCraft II) for the second round of discussions on the balance changes that will happen for Patch 1.22. Many of the balance changes mentioned by both professional eSports players and the community alike, such as 'nerfs' to Human Guard Tower repair rates are on the top of the balance list for these rounds of discussion.

When balance changes are more solidified, I will give you an update on what these may be, and a better approximate release time. Furthermore, there is the possibility of additional Battle.net features to be added in Patch 1.22 that would further add to the longevity of the game online.

Patch 1.21b, the 'no CD' patch for Warcraft III is being signed off as we speak, and is aiming at a release for next week.

Bnet feature would be good as long as it's not a stupid one.

the Blizzard eSports team, responisble for the tournaments, the community, the balance etc.

they are organising meetings in order to prolong patch release date, in business world is not a new tool ;) to fool customers.
whats next? you gonna meet US president in order to discuss about the best of the best ever seen patch in the end of 2008? :D with turbo promises that this patch will include free dvd with old anime and new media player or smth? :D

though I think it's just some small feature they wanna test in wc3 before sc2 comes out.
I still think patch will be here in march, or maybe as late as April =/

they need another 2 months to discuss which candidate they should vote for:Barack Obama or Hilary Clinton

C'mon, DotA ladder ? You already got it at Dotealeague stuff :( And they wont add dota ladder for sure cuz I think blizz and frog are not in very good relations. So I dont thing you will see DotA ladder. Add more icons xD New icon for every 100 wins xD

Probably they are discussing wether they would discuss or not the discussion of discussing the possibility of adding a new kind of task to their schedule, which could be related to a warcraft3 patch or not, but first they have to decide between them who starts the discussion, given that they've already decided if they are ready to discuss about something
