Seriously, this is the worst shit I ever seen. I'm not a feminist or anything, but this only shows why they organize competitions for girls in WC3. It's only to get even more guys interested in the game, not for the girls skills. I think most people alrdy knew this, but now they are not even trying to hide it. -.-

At the moment; female gaming is just a big f*****g joke tbh, at least in the WC3 scene. Personally, I would gladly compete, IF there were any serious competitions. Ah hell, I would compete with the guys just to show that someone has the guts to do it, if it would make more girls confident enough to compete, even though I would probably not be able to kill a single unit.

Well, You are right about the money part. Money is sadly always the biggest problem. But I'm convinced that there are girls out there that can be compared with the guys. They just need to be able to show themselves. With this "invite-10-random-goodlooking-girls"-competitions that's just not possible. I don't think there were any online qualifiers for this competition, correct me if I'm wrong.
And that still doesn't explaine the female CS-scene for example, cause as far as I know, the girls are still kinda useless comparing to guys, and dispite that; they have their own competitions :)

I don`t know whats the situation in China/Korea with the massive Online/Offline tournaments , but I believe that there are some sort of tours like ours F4g/incup/tgl/etc etc cups where girls can compete.Noone will organize a lan tournament for some "no-names" .

For euro female players they are numerous online massive tournaments who get decent coverege and attention where they can try.Simply I haven`t heard about a girl who reached 1/8 ,1/4 final of Incup e.g ?

About the cs female gaming - yes , because there is a community , there are many players.How many female wc3 players(taking the game kinda seriously) in Europe ? I think that aTTax/mouz (it was some German organization as far as I remember) got a female team but I haven`t heard anything about it recently.Just the popularity of this game is low around the girls ...i guess

I turned off the trailer as soon as I saw that they showed the girl's weight along with their picture. I was expecting at least clips of the girl's playing and showing off their skills, but instead I get this, where it seems there weight and height are more important than wc3 ( which would be fine if this were a beauty contest). How bout next time we make moon grubby and sky include their weight and height...

I don't see how it's inappropriate to show their weight. It's just another statistic to introduce the players to the world, just like you would put "favorite food" or "hobby".
And I don't know if they're real good war3 players or really female players used for promotional purposes. Either way that's fine isn't it? The female sex simply sells, especially in a male-dominated world like pc gaming. And such promotion is used everywhere, in many sports, on all tv shows, magazines etc. There's nothing wrong with it.
