Tod played very well, escpecially against Moon. On EI he did very few towers and it was very close. I thought he will lose the game on Terenas but did a good decision to tower rush Moon, who didn't really expect it.
And to all Orc vs Hu whiners: Xiaot beat Sky 2:0 and also beats other humans quite often. The same with Fly100% who plays pretty strong against human.
So now I get a lot of thumb downs for saying this :)

xiaoT didn't have the shape of semi-final and made a few mistakes which leaded to the failure.

come on, the Echo game was sad. Moon killed so much early on but couldnt finish the game even without towers in Tod's main despite 4-3 heros and 50 supply tier3 vs 2-1 heros 50 supply tier2. After that Tod just had to outmass him without micro, just clicking heal scrolls and killing dryads with mortars, tping out, healing while going to the expo again. No micro required.

haha, I'm pretty sure tod has the best record vs moon of all top players. Probably close to 50-50 in tournament play.

Its called a late tower push.. AM get lvl 3 and moon has 1 AOW>. the tower push comes BEFORE tier2 so itsVERY effective becasue TOD has the ressources and the am 3 to do the push..

moon will never be the best wc3 player of all time ALONE because he is playin the easiest race and that is a fact, he is OFCOURSE one of the maybe 5 best players of all times and prolly the most successful player of all time, but to call him the best in such an unbalanced game is just not fair.

Human has its weaknesses but it's still a bullshit race most of the time with no brain fast expo and towers, losing so many units like it's nothing, followed by either tanks, the best tri-hero or the best countering units in the game. Or all of the 3.

But Tod still deserved it. The TS game was close enough and Hu vs elf on that level is a lot about strat luck. Moon raping Tod here, but clearly losing to him there, Sky and Moon 2-0ing each other back and forth... they usually never use the same strat twice vs each other.
