why r these forums dead?
Why are these forums dead? What Happenend ? eeryone got gestapoed?
because everybody got tired from all the whines

Sk kicked their team. Why the fuck would you meet wc3 players in a clan forum with no team? Maybe we enter fntc-forum next. . .

well SK is somehow in trouble anyway.. look at the ticker
I always loved to bet on the ticker.. but its not up2date... missing many games.. the few games left need hours to be updatet. They guy with the most credits is on first because he bet draw on a game that was in reality canceled but he got the credits for 0-0 draw lol. Other games are closed without paying out the credits (Nightend vs lild.c today). And yet other games get postponed for months but they don't even think about canceling the bets so you lose all credits on it.
News come late and are mostly copies from other scene sites.
It seems like SK is down to like 2-3 staff members.. not even really good ones.
having no wc3 team might be a reason true, but tbh SK didnt make much out of it coverage ways anyway. Some half heartet after game news when they won something (often none when they lost :D)
only good thing was malystrix doing a great job on events!!
I guess the number of people visiting the side is in general dicreasing, not only a wc3 problem. even if they denie it.. I smell financial problems.

I wonder why they keep updating wc3 results anyway. The only people commenting there are some spammers trying to get rank points for whatever reasons without actually knowing or caring about the game, or people complaining about their bets.

The WC3 section has suffered because, yes, we lost a lot of staff and WC3 is not my only game like it was for others like Maly and Manutd. So instead of having 2.5 people dedicated solely to WC3 it's more like 1.5 - hence the ticker being so bad now. I don't think the news itself has really suffered, except to say that there seems to be less news lately anyway. We've had news for the main tournament results, even Zotac, but not always the fixtures. Sadly, we can't just make news up but i don't think there have been any big stories that we missed in recent months.
That being said, the forums aren't really anything to do with the news/coverage imo. Most of the forum trolls don't even post on most news comments and Grubby looking semi-inactive is always bad news for these forums :P

Why don't SK hire someone to do some wc3 coverage then? this is ment to be the biggest e-sports organization in europe (mb the world?) and you can't even give upto date coverage anymore its sad when it has come to this. All you seem to care for is world of warcraft and 1.6 and anything else seems like its forced out or just copy/pasta from other sites.
the new sk forum is more like myspace now, thus it's less attractive. There is no hypnose who would spam with topics about orc being weak, less tournaments, less entertaining games (just blademaster, mass healing waves, mass spirit links) no ladder resets, man I kinda miss old times :(

You simply can't hire people who aren't there. If you want to apply then by all means ask me for Thorin's emial address in a PMl. But the reason we have more wow/1.6 coverage is simply because more people are willing to write about those games. Well, actually, for WoW that's not even true. We only have on *dedicated* WoW writer (me) and a few people who pitch in now and again. The difference is that since we don't have a WC3 team any more, the people who previous pitched in when Maly or myself were AFK don't really feel the need. But since we do have a huge WoW presence that is seen as more important.
I don't want to seem like i'm mindlessly defending SK here, i'm just telling you guys the facts. As much as i like WoW, i still prefer WC3 any day of the week. I'd love for us to have a WC3 team but it's not up to me and i can understand the reasons for dropping the one we had, even if i don't like them.

I'm sure they have some stuff to do but how can they just let die important things like the ticker die. Do they feel too superior to do update it on their own? Also for example Reis beeing responsible for WC3 hardly ever looks to this forum?

Maybe, the majority of the once active forum posters got kinda old now and are not involved in the game as much as they did.I now barely play wc3, what's left for visiting a wc3 forum

in the first place because the new design sucks balls. the old design with the flags and squares as someone mentioned above as well as the "#47,#48,..." to reply to previous comments was awesome. the new design is just copying the worst of every main stream site.
second thing is that yo-family doesnt exist anymore. those were great times with all the spammers battling with Belial and Serdiuk, the two tunisian guys, as well as being banned every other day and still having 10 more accounts to keep on trolling.

euro/korean matches used to be rare and exciting. now we have a tourney every few weeks or so in china, so nobody cares about moon/grubby #13.
the best trolls moved on to rl, so we're just let with 12 yr old trolls and 30 yr old virgins.
