Tbh, in my oppinion SC2 is still more like Brood War than WC3, graphic models dont change much.

Those games were fake iirc. Some SC pros and Moon were testing SC2, MYM filmed them and Moon won vs some random noob, but people jumped to conclusions.

Moon said he enjoyed Zerg the most, so we prolly gonna see him playing them.
Protoss seems a bit more like Nightelf though, a little heavier on the macro side, Zerg requires little more micro.

I remember moon playing sc1 already for some years before wc3 and he we can assume he knows everything about this game and how to play it. And I guess he already has a favorite race. But why Zerg?! :(

It's weird, with all the hype before that match, there's only 2 half minute vids on youtube and no official result or something.

tbh I think Moon would stand a better chance facing yellow or savior or something, NaDa got better sc2 skills then them and more natural pro :P

Well the official score was 1:1 and I think they both really wanted to win it. So most likely they played pretty serious. I don't think the sc pros are going to be that far ahead. With automining etc stuff a lot of why they are the best will be taken away. Build orders, units and stuff like that will change so everyone has to adapt, non sc players can start off from a clean table which can be also good. It is going to be more about the strategy side and who are good at that are most likely good at sc2.

DayFly is the reason Orc is so good now, Grubby and Lyn watched his replays to become good themself. DayFly invented most of the Strats which are played today and some others which were more effective back in RoC. Zacard invented other stuff, BM and Wyvern play. Not sure if Grubby invented anything, he more likely improved some basic strategies along with Lyn.

Grubby did a lot for Orcs actually. He was the one to solve the imba of the orc UD matchup back when it was imba the other way arround. Remember the bo5 showmatch with FroG? At that time bragging right was everything and showmatches actually meant something...

He also was the one to popularize the grunt raider combo (although with FS and no SW at the time...)

Well, of course Grubby put the focus on raiders like no other orc before, but indeed it doesen't matter. IMHO the point is, that if you train alot and got talent you become a good player. It doesen't matter wich strategies are good atm or were good in former days.
