Who do you think is the better shoutcaster?I am a big fan of rotti but I can't really make up my mind

rotti is good but Tod's shoutcasting is more entertaining

both are really good, but i like tod a little better because he tells the truth about orc imba : ))

Rotterdam needs a bit more enthusiasm in his casts. The info is spot on, but it's not quite exciting enough. Tod is OK, but he's goofing around a lot and doesn't feel the same way about the game as a spectator. This means that "exciting" moments like a surrounded SH getting broken free by a windwalked blade just gets an acknowledgment instead of a "wahooo this was so gosu!". There it's actually a hindrance if you read the game well and know what's about to happen.

I still miss a Tasteless for warcraft, but maybe that's not going to happen :/

yea well i hate those shoutcasters who are telling always obvious things and keep yelling whenever a hero dies, or a surround happens. They got less background knowledge of the game than any lvl 30+ player. So either way its rotti or tod, it doesnt matter, its 100x more entertaining than any other shoutcaster.

ps.: grubby would be an epic shoutcaster too, like if he's out of a tour, put him in front of the microphone and the listening rate will multiply

Actually,Frozgard,if memory serves,ToD's shoutcast was not so much about going into too much depth.At some points,it seemed like his goal was to make it more entertaining for ppl who do not know too much about the game.I even remember a few remarks of his that made him sound like some whiner on wc3 forums.In my opinion,he was trying to be funny and make it more exciting by really SHOUTcasting.
Rotterdam has a different style.He is more calm,but undoubtedly very knowlegdable when it comes to wc3.It is very interesting to hear what he has to say.Not because I think that he knows more than any other pro player(ToD being one of them),but because he is very thorough and doesn't make everything sound so simple as most players do in their interviews.I like to think that I understand the game really well,and yet,there are some things that I miss,but,guess what-Rotterdam does not!
It also helps a lot that he had a co-caster,both at WCG and IEM.It makes the shoutcast more entertaing,especially cuz they throw in some kind of a joke every now and then.
