admins are same everywhere, they wont rule it a win for the other player unless its really 100% over, which that game wasnt, imo somewhere around 85/15 for fury, but in theory liild had chance so.....

Well the possibility to witn what 1000 euro's or 300 euro's can influence your decision to admit you would have lost, or go for a regame and try to win it. But to be honest, I never saw a wc3 player admit he was losing the game when a host went down, so we can say there is no sportsmanship in wc3 :D only the greedy little bastards who dont want to get booted of their teams now ;P

Sorry to say this but if Liildc had even 10% chance of winning, why should he forfeit when something unpredictable, unrelated to him happens? Sure, Fury had the upper hand, probably would've won 9 of 10 games, but exactly that game might've been game number 10, a game that Liildc would've won.

A regame is the only logical and partially fair thing one could decide, thought obviously it advantages one player more than the other. But as the outcome of the match was still undecided, it would've been worse to give the win to Fury.

apparently one of the admins, I think it was zivvi, is like best friends with liildc irl, so what if furys girlfriend or ANY other wc3 player in DH decided, then fury would win.

Well if i would have been the admin, i wouldnt even had consider judging that match, i would have of course been partial in that decision. I have been admin in the swedish ESWC-quali (cs) many years and i know that you dont send an admin to judge a match where you know that people can be partial. And that is the thing i am angry about, why the hell do you send an partial admin to judge such a match? Where money and honor is at stake?

even if he had 10% how is it fair for fury that they go back to 50%? at the very least lilidc should have too win 9 games in a row to make it fair

Well I hope you still got my point, which was that 15% chance for winning is more than adequate for a regame in my opinion, there are plenty of times I've seen players coming out on top from even worse situations, liil had a right to still try to win, ofcourse this was shit luck for fury, and somewhat unfair because he was more likely to win the game, but sometimes things just dont all go fairly....
Instead of talking here against dh admins and blaming them for making an unfair decision, you should be blaming the people who set up the network, or the computers which caused the problem in the first place, without the crash/disc there wouldnt be any problems...

dont loose the point guys if i was lillidc and had a chance to rematch i never missed it but its not point, our point is admin shut the game down to change result!

The decision of the admins was the most reasonable one. I'm really sorry for Fury, but a game that is "almost" won is not a won game.

if one player made really stupid mistakes and has therefore an extreme disadvantage like liildc had, its very very unlikely that he will repeat the mistakes, but that doesnt change the fact that he would've lost the other game in 98/100 cases.

and a rematch is always unfair towards the guy who had such an extreme advantage, because your mentally screwed after that.

but that way undead won two big tourneys(bwwi and eswc05), so i kinda like it :D
