No don't think so. Kinda sad because the atmosphere was 10x better in germany as in the usa.

Okay, I watched it today in the cinema and all I can say is it is the most amazing movie about wc3 I have ever seen and probably will ever see. It is quite something to see our little world projected on a big movie screen done with both skill and respect.

You get to experience what Sky and Grubby's life is like building up to their clash at the WCG 2007. You'll see World Elites training center (looks quite cool), interviews with Sky's parents ("We used to beat him with a stick for being so disobient",...lolz) his girlfriend (very sweet) and the sort of fan craze they have in china. Also Madfrog makes a short appearance. He looks kinda sad, I wonder if he feels he made the right decision? Maybe the petition to bring madfrog back should be restarted :]

The director was present and answered audience questions afterwards. There was one funny anecdote: at the night of the premiere last week there was another documentary running about Kasparov, with Kasparov himself present. Afterwards Kasparov and Grubby got to meet, and actually Kasparov knew all about Grubby and wc3, he apparently said to Grubby "I know you play orc, ofcourse you play orc! If I played wc3 I would play orc aswell", which was quite funny.

Anyway if you have the chance to see it somewhere, I highy recommend you do, you won't be disappointed..

also tonight there will be a item on a dutch tv program about this documentary, and apparently kasparov will be featured in that aswell. So we will see if it is rumor or reality.

I really hope this gets a DVD release, or comes to some film festivals in the UK. Although the bit with cassandra seems blatantly staged, this is a movie i really really want to see. Thanks for the write-up nooke and thanks for the trailer link.
