hi guys ! i know alot of you think that nightelf orb is the 2nd best orb after ud, some even thinks its the best orb.. this is wrong, obviously.

now first if lets all agree that the human orb is just pure shit and sux, no question about that, but now lets talk about the 3 remaining orbs , orb of venom, orb of corruption and orb of lighting(??)

so lets go over why the venom orb is not the 2nd best but third best, imagine elf with the lighting orb, garg harrasment would be really crippled since if 1 garg is purged chances are it will stay in the same spot until it dies thx too 35% purge and huge attackspeed and against humans it would be great for purging we'se and stopping tanks against orc it would not be that great other than dispelling link on the unit beeing targeted but it would also dispell farie fire so orb of venom still better than lighting here.

the orb of corruption would most likely be the best orb against most races other than ud since purge would pretty much make garg useless and with that out of the picture i think elf would actually have a slight advantage over ud..
against orc it would be great on kotg third hero with mass tallons, however the orb of venom might be the best orb in this mu on maps where there is no healing fountains since thats orcs only weakness, they dont have free healing besides sh and thats why 80 dmg for 1 hit is great against orc if used correctly, and this is also why imo the orb of venom is not that great vs ud and human since they got tons of free healing so the extra psn damage is not really that big of a deal, the main reason.

ok i have no idea if anything of what i wrote made any sense since i dont feel like reading it but whatever ! in conclusion my ranking list looks like this
1. orb of corruption
2. orb of lighting
3. orb of venom
4. orb of whatever human got(fire??)

please feel free too say what you think is the best orbs and why, unless you disagree with me and if you do please go away : )

well these clueless idiots from Blizzard instead of buffing human`s items , they keep nerfing them.The only 2 good things at the human shop - the ivory tower and the staff got nerfed last patch , just no comment

orb of corruption is best cuz it neutralizes agility heroes biggest advantage - armor

as far as i remember, according to bnet fire orb stacks with bash when hitting air units.

well ud orb ist the best and human the weakest I agree.
but I believe orb of venom is better then orb of lighting, since its just much much easier for elf to get the Orb. And when Im Orc with Blademaster & Orb and herofocus this fucking orb always dispells hex :D

yeah, ud is the best race (oh god, i love to say that!) when we are talking about orbs (-_-)

I think venom and lightning are pretty equal. Orb of lightning is kind of situational and your whole argument is kind of messed-up by saying how useful it is to elf players. Elf will never use that orb, unless so saying it would be good in elf strats is pointless. For orc players, like i said, it has situational uses.

Vs mass air it is very very good and since you go tier3 much more often in this situation (burrow upgrades vs gryphs f.ex) then the orb is obviously very useful. But vs ground armies it's not so good. Ensnare does the same job a lot better, and then there's the chance of dispelling hex when you rightclick a hero. Another claw is much better in the inventory slot imo.

Not saying that lightning is bad at all, btw, i think it's about the same as venom on average: better in some matches, worse in others, whereas venom is useful in all.

PS. i agree that corruption is definitely #1

tbh would rather see orc with orb of corruption then lightning, the lightning just makes the blademaster imba, corruption they could use on ranged heroes aswell^^

orb of venom (nice damage over time + aoe - especially vs towers great...)
orb of lightning (really nice to focus and kill...)
orb of corruption (really good to add a lot of dmg with rangearmies...)
orb of fire (errr... little aoe + enables attacking air units - useless)

id say the first 3 orbs are pretty well and got a different kind strenght, hu orb doesnt really fit in there, its like they forgot to add some good skill on it ._. (im orc)

If its a hero duel then orb of lighting is much better (or when the armies arent big)

If the armies are big then definitely orb of corruption because when you focus fire with it, the whole army makes much more damage to the unit.

Orb of venom is not bad but definitely lacks the strenghts of the other 2 orbs.

Imo Orb of venom is the best. You lower the hp on every unit it you attack others meanwhile it's active on the attacked units and reattack when the effect is off.
Second best is split between corruption and lightning. Hello free purge and hello nuker orb.

you can't really rank orbs rofl wtf. all orbs are good, just depends on the hero.

like the lich has no use for the orb of lightning, but for blademaster yes.
