even though this wcg sucks/sucked concerning wtv, there still is one thing which makes the stream good: rotti commentating!!
He has a lot of knowledge, a smooth voice and (like a real orcbrother he is) he every now and then mentions elf imba!!!! Well done rotti, keep it on!!!

I really have to confirm it. RotterdaM commentates awesome, his knowledge, his voice and also the art of commentating made the final a kind of more worth to watch and listen. I hope RotterdaM will get a place in a commentary job after his gaming career :)

Of course you guys can't understand what Khaldor is saying but he's definitely the best, he might not be a pro like Rotti when it comes to game knowledge, but he revolutionized casting.

But Rotti did a really great job, not just his analysis of the game situation but also that he stayed remarkably calm despite Grubby playing.

Zerter speaks a bit strange every second word is "you know" and his voice is also a bit ... but it shouldnt be an offense he also casted good but not so good as RotterdaM.

And littled, i'm very neutral but its just tradition to mock elf a bit but its nothing serious, might be a bit confusing for new listeners but the thing is you can't please all types of listeners. I can start every game by explaining you need to gather gold and lumber and you use peons for it, then you can produce a hero of which every race has 4 or neutral but then 95% of the people that play wc3 on a regular base are getting bored like hell since its obvious as shit, gotta make it a bit 50/50, sometimes some basics, sometimes some strategy talk and sometimes some elf jokes ;)

I was torn between wanting you to go out early so you could shoutcast and wanting you to go far in the tournament.

Very nice casting rotterdam. It makes watching the games so much more interesting when someone can explain all the little details. No offense to tosspot, but I think he understands the game only on a superficial level and is more of a CS caster. Although the combo worked out well.

Also the german casters khaldor and reaper (?) are really good too. They are not as in depth as rotterdam but their enthusiasm works great in a live setting with a big audience. They have the ability to get a crowd going, which made for a very exciting atmosphere.

It be intresting to know if carmac still thinks sc is more exciting to watch as wc3 after seeing a high level wc3 match in this setting. Because for me the wc3 tournament totally blew away the sc tournament in every respect.

Carmac has probably seen lots of stage matches in both SC and Wc3 already. But you're right, I also didn't agree with Carmac back then. Just because SC is so big in Korea and easier for "noobs" to get into as spectators, nothing beats a crowd going wild when there are hero kills and saves on the screen.
