The day Moon loses to Grubby either hell freezes over or Wc3 is not balanced. Seeing as hell does fine it must be the latter.

Imo, there are 2 levels of balance:
1-You can win any tournament with any race: warcaft achieves this level of balance since the earlier versions.
2-For any matchup/map, playing better than your opponent always ensure victory: warcaft doesn't achieve this level and never will. Imo, the only way to reach this "perfect" balance is to make 4 identical races and remove the creep items, and hell that would be boring (real time chess xD)...

So quit whining, enjoy the game and love your neighbour til it hurts :)

Well I agree. Warcraft 3 seems to be very balanced at all. Sure the last events were won by Orc but its only because the Orcs are on fire. Its only little things who make the game looking imbalanced and that is was the most wont understand...

random( tomes, damage, items) makes balance in wc3 really unstable

that's why the game is still fun to watch!

This game wouldn't be fun if random elements like that didn't come into play, or have any impact. Random things like getting 2 experience tomes in a match (lolgrubby) are what make the game interesting and fun.

races = balanced
maps = imbalanced

@FP I play random o_O check my account. I played orc when i first started about 2 years ago but they sucked hard back then :P

Although, to clarify, i probably have whined in the past but i grew out of it. I'm sure all WC3 players will do the same.

No race is imbalanced. Certain aspects of this game give all sorts of advantages; recognition and exploitation of those advantages are key to determine any given outcome.

wc3 is not balanced, the reason we see some unexpected results in tournaments is because of the bracket factor.

If Moon wins WCG wc3 is balanced.

wc3 is played by proud people, men of honour. So its impossible for any of us to accept we lost because of lack of skill or 'stupid mistakes'. Its convenient for us to believe there's imbalance. So let it be.

Undeads only luck in those tournaments is getting weak orcs and humans , or mass elves as enemies, otherwise its imposible for em... Humans always are gettin wins, and currently its orc year :D

The only things that make wc3 imbalanced are:
1. Fatal errors
2. Overheating
3. 10 tomes of power up
4. People who cant figure out why acolytes cant mine wood
