what makes wow so good to play?
tell me why you think wow is best.

It's easier, so you can play hours and hours long. You don't get pwned in a regular basis. You know many people online. Even girls.

I don't play wow btw, because I think going out and drinking is something like that and is even easier xD. I mean, Im not defending wow at all

it doesn't, i got bored of WoW after reaching lvl 20 in one month, personally i think wc3 is way better and more interesting (but one day i will probably stop playing wc3 and start to play WoW to see all the creatures)

wow is lots more complication u has this click click world and we has 3d world so we has better and hardest...

You can't get map or tiehacked. but on the other hand the Class balance sucks ass in wow. And the game aint so skill depended since gear makes more then 50% in pvp.

But wow is a game that never ends and thats a good char with it. It's fun to make raid proggres pve with a friendly guild etc etc. it's a good game but not a e-sport game.

i played it for 3 months when it first came out and tbh i dont really know why i liked it, but one day i just saw how fucking gay it is too spend hours in a raid and i MIGHT be one of the guys to get a new epic giving me 20 more hp and 2 more damage... yay.. now what?

Its for people who dont have much time for competitive games like CS/Wc3/SC etc.Simply to be good at these games you gotta play A LOT and you gotta practise a lot regulary so you dont lose shape.I guess most of you who have played wc3 a bit more harder , know that nevertheless if you had played 5/6+ hours a day for 2 weeks and then you dont play at all for around a week and after that its like u didnt play wc3 in 1 month

Wow is quite more easier , you dont have to be concentrated that much.You have just got back from work , you are tired.You get a beer , get on the computer and go grind some mobs or make a raid on some secondary instance or so.You can talk on skype/etc with your friends , you can eat/drink meanwhile playing..something which in wc3/sc/cs is impossible

WoW is the biggest disaster game ever.

I've heard of people dropping out of school, lost contact with friends, and even adults quitting their jobs and divorcing their wifes.

I think that a lot of the people addicted to WoW, is people with struggles in real life, using it as their little get-away. And appearantly this becomes their first priority.

Yes, same with some friends of mine. It canb e really fdangerous, I don't play it because of that. I get easily addicted to such games. Some friends lost their girlfriends because of WoW.

I've played WoW for 3 years or so and i really don't know why. I ask myself this question all the time, but there's something very very addictive about it once you get roped in. I started playing with my cousin, then friends from CS, then my girlfriend. Now my cousin doesn't play, my friends moved realm and my gf stopped playing completely but i still play. I think it's something to do with the collector mentality. Getting new gear is like football stickers when i was a kid.

What others have said about it being easy is pretty true as well, especially in PvE. In PvP it's a little different, but gear+class is 51% of your win chance. Only 49% (or less) is skill imo. In PvE it's 75% not being a retard, 25% skill.

It could be much better if Blizzard made WC 4 instead of this crap.

I don't understand WoW. I've always been an easy target in video games, I've always been a fan of the Warcraft Universe so, WoW should have been the perfect drug for me. I was really waiting for the release of the game etc.

- I played the beta. Hated it, hated the quest, the long boring farming, the "find 34 wolfs and kills them".
- I tried again a year later anddd same feeling-
- I tried again 2 weeks ago, still shitty.

What's wrong with me ? :(

hehe sabian, except the fact that i disliked the beta so much that i didnt try it again i feel the same.

the game just didnt catch me in the beginning, and the first impressions are very important to keep you playing. dont know if the beta was so shitty compared to wow now, but i disliked the quests, the gameflow, the charsystem - just nothing for me. maybe i would love the game in the later parts of it, dunno.

the first guild wars on the other hand did everything right regarding myself, already pvp in the tutorial, gear doesnt matter(you get the best gear pretty fast, there were just better looking gear as lategame-goal in pve), extremely nice charsystem, the missions havent been easy because half of your group were always retards like monks who think they dont have to heal and they have been absolutely awesome in general, nice solofarming or group farming in fissure of woe, and of course the best of guild wars: the pvp, which wow now more or less completely copied, which was just awesome and required much skill.

so sabian:
you should have played guild wars imo, all the things you disliked about wow are well done in gw, or atleast it was like that when i played it.

all my friends plays wow, they ALWAYS talk about wow, its so annoying, and they always play wow all day long, before they didnt play that much, but when wow came out (wotlk) they played much more.

i play both wow and wc3. and the clear thing is Warcraft III is a E-Sport. wow is not.

But wow is a much more relaxed game and you can eat while you play if you want. You can also play with just one hand during raids etc etc. And there are funny parts if you play rp/rp-pvp if you enjoy warcraft III lore. Also chatting in wow is alot more fun then hanging in a warcraft channel. Besides that in wow you chose how you want your char to look like. male/female etc etc,

Your face aint based on Icons. ( if that matters)

But wow has it's week parts. game is very unbalanced when it comes to pvp. and speccs/classes are totaly dominant in the game.
