it would be nice to see WhO take the double, though i cheer for Grubby and Moon as the real fanboy i am :-)

if Grubby flies out in the group stage or at the 1/8 final WITH THIS MAP POOL , I would be looking forward for his next excuse cuz really I cant remember when last a race was so strongly favoured by a particular patch or a map pool

My prediction for top 8 is gonna be Moon, Who, Grubby, Infi, ToD, Focus and Sase. The winner is probably gonna be an orc depending on how well Moon plays, although I think Moon looks like he only plays bad against Chinese orcs because hes not really use to their playstyle whereas if it were someone he has already faced a few times its unlikely that he will lose. The humans might have a chance considering how imba their towers are and considering the fact that humans lately have developed the MK-Gryphon strategy that seems to be working well. SaSe has been doing well lately and because so many of the top players did not qualify he seems to be the best of the average pros. ToD has proved that he is serious when it comes to WCG and hes probably the person that has come closest to the title but never actually winning it even once. Infi seems like China's only hope at the moment and China is a very strong country in WC3. Who has been playing really well lately and if you add the orc imbalance he should make it to top 8 pretty easily unless he screws up or meets someone in my prediction. Grubby has been playing really well lately and he has just been really good in orc mirror lately so if all the orcs ease through hes gonna be the favourite. On the other hand he seems really weak against human so with Infi and ToD there his advantage might equalize. Focus has been doing pretty well in WC3L lately and his only weakness seems to be against NE and guess what there aren't many top NEs here (HoT, SaSe, and Moon are the only ones I can think of) so if he can dodge them for a while it will all just depend on his Orc mirror and Orc vs human matchup.

check his recent reps and you will see he is trying to switch back to am casters bm tier 2 push, but it hasnt worked well against orcs of who's caliber

infi th00 and other chinese human players are trying to find new counters to orc as well and the frequency of them playing mk grphy has decreased a lot lately

Meh, this is better for ud than orc imo. EI was good for orc vs ud due to the shop etc. There are vetoes, so bo3 map pool for ud vs orc would be sv, tm and tr or ts I guess. That is ok. EI was bad for ud vs elf, and not good for ud vs hu either really.

However, group stages bo1 with predetermined maps is a bad idea, should use elimination. Hi orc gw\sv bo1 :P.
