i have just finished an anti cheat tool for league play and wanna make a public beta test :)

this program detects if the game is started and is makin screenshots, after the game is done all screenshots are saved into an archiv with its logs.
with the validator you can check if the screenshots are real or if some1 faked tham and after it you can watch em and check if the guy had a maphack running.
(ofc this means the leagues support it after the final release and the guys have to upload the archiv)

It's about time Wc3 had one of these thingie's, Starcraft also has anti-hack 3rd party programs that work to a certain degree. I think taking screenshots is the best "anti-hack" there could be, but it'll probably be hard to get people to use it unless it's reglementated by league rules.

such a good piece of work! i hope it will help to find hackers in lower leagues (i believe there are no hackers/cheaters in wc3l, ngl 1 - even if its possible. but its always good to be 100% sure :)

hmm I hadnt any problem with real cheaters in any wc3 league so far (wc3cl). but anyway most time if I think some things look suspicious, I rather believe that some of his observing mates could have told him something. So maybe your programm should check if he is in the same ts/vt like some of the observers^^ but I guess thats difficult to make ;D and it still wont prove anything.

As far as I know, you can forbid any kind of observer. And you can also join your opponent's TS channel if that makes you happy. But I've to agree, if someone wants to cheat, he can do it and against voice abuse there is kinda nothing you can do.

i dont wanna go deep into the algorythm of when and how much are taken but maximum of the archive should be around 4mb

since 1 screenshot takes 200kb in average and the archive is 4mb.... i take a wild guess that about 20 screenshots are beeing taken...

He siad he doesn't want to go deep into the algorythm, not that he doesn't want to tell you how many are taken... It obviously depends on the length of the game. It will probably make more screen shots in a 40 minute LT game then on a 5 min close spawn TR tower rush.

Ok so 'calculate' it with the 100kb then you get an estimated maximum of 40 screenshots.

now your 5 min close spawn TR tower rush game is included there too...

antitiehack is the tiehack himself if there is tiehack without maphack, you can use it to prevent tiehacking, you will just be able to control each other's units.
