so i watched the replays of the CW

and i must say i am confused

remind vs grubby 1st map was LT
remind wins it was surprising but ok
however 2nd game on GW was outrageous
how can u comeback from losing so badly beeing behind on hero lvls and on army tt
silly stuff

Soju vs moon game 3
was sure mym was winning the whole game had advantage in hero lvls army was kinda the same
and soju comes out as the big winner after the last fight

soccer vs reign on terenas
i was watching and couldn t stop thinking how reign lost this when it was just so hard for soccer
dryads dying warden beeing nuked and reign took such good care of his heros microing them perfectly out of harms way evry time
and then warden gets lvl 6 and sudenly gg even tho at the end reign finished with 6/6 dk/lich and soccer with 6/2 warden panda

2v2 2nd game on tr
i am still figuring out how u get out of the spot where u r burrows are being destroyed and u have nothing but 4 heros and some dryads agains mass spider and hunt supported by higher lvl heroes oO

anyways well played by SK but this (even though the score was 4-1) had to be one of the closest CWs this year i guess
so games were so intense ^^

SK had a good seeding and SK was playing really strong.. It was a really intense clan war and congratulations to SK.wc3

about the seedings i guess SK had better but still
grubby on LT vs remind is imo better seeding for mym yet it tourned out in SK favour
lyn vs susi is better for SK
Moon vs Soju is mirror so nothing special there
soccer vs Reign imo better seeding for SK yet mym came out on top
2v2 I guess ppl would like to see grubby/moon for mym but i guess there was a reason why they didn t play but still orc UD and Ne Ud are both good 2v2 combos
especialy in 2nd game soccer and luci were realy close to winning
actualy i still can t figure out how they could mess up such an advantage

SK took the risk by putting Remind to LT, they probably wanted Remind Grubby and avoid possibility of Remind - UD. Of course LT means bad first map for elf but that's the way it goes.

To answer your question bout grubby remind g2, grubby was losing game 2 after his lodge died, then he had to fight a very hard fight vs 2/3 bears, he did that very well and managed to kill all hero's and bears, I'd say he did it a bit to well and remind kinda screwed up there, unnessesary , but that was really well played by grubby since he was the one coming back in the game at first half, then he rebuild his lodge, made 3/4 walkers but never researched dispel, I think he totally forgot it, unlucky but can happen to the best of us , even to grubby, just a human being as well. All this time remind got some time to be back in the game, we know once elf is tier 3 and just has to produce some bears, army's go bigger fast since its not that expensive anymore, final result, after a few minutes 2 equally food army's face off, where the elf army is powered by roar, kodo's are getting entangled and the DH is under renuvation, since their was no dispel on grubby's side, suddenly if you picture that battle, its not so surprising elf won ;), with dispel grubby would have had a more than decent chance but without, orc can't fight that army with just grunts raiders kodo walker(no dispel)

indeed. the dischent upgrade was very very close to finish when remind was killing the lodge, but it didn't. grubby made some walkers when the second one finished but didn't try to upgrade dischent again until the last fight where found he could not dispel rejuvenation.

I get your point but missing such an important upgrade is a major mistake like not scouting an expansion or losing hero with tp and stuff. So it's not an excuse since it's a mistake made by a player. So if he doesn't notice he has no upgrade it's his very own fault. Please don't try to say "if Grubby did . . . he would have won" it's simply unfair and disrespectful towards remind's very good performance.

well he did attempt to research dispel but only during the final battle. I guess he must have thought he'd researched it before the lodge was killed the first time.

Seeding ReMinD on LT is a real good decision.MYM wouldnt throw UD once again,so it could only be Moon or Grubby,both can be defeat by ReMinD.
The best game of the series is Soccer vs ReiGn on TS.That micro of ReiGn is incredible:DK+Lich+few gargs vs Warden level6+Panda+bears+dryad,not to mention ReiGn's heroes were at a cul-de-sac.Unfortunately he couldnt kill the altar,the warden would easily kill DH/Lich in 5 secs

In the Moon-Soju game you mentioned, Soju had 2-0 upgrades on his bears, while moon was still 0-0. I don't know if that's enough to win the game, but it obviously helped.

i think moon didnt want to lose the 2n2 with nuuby, so he denied to play.
but your theory about dodging works too and seems more nuuby-like.

rotterdam sayed nice...just why grubby didnt attack remind in base after he killed his heros+few bears?!?!? he go creep mid fountain,giving elf time to rebuild army....kinda "stupid move" from player like he is!! and destroying that lodge seems like one of wining/losing move...
1st game was lol, remind found great items,u cant find better in that mu vs that enemy!+grubby make little mistakes(lost grunt,give elf to creep mid easy...)

soccer vs regin ts was hell of game! i think reign would win if he keep attacking altar,instead chasing
panda & dryd/s...

moon vs soju was close ones!! 3rd game ,by focusing moons heroes,and by whip off his heroes of battle in red hp,he can more "easy" control army and heroes,little less bears,but heroes solves!!!

anyway was nice cw, and lu isnt bad by MYM!
just isnt easy to beat Sk 2-3 times in row and now this war,
actually "everyone" should expect win of Sk after row of losses vs MYM!!!
