For some unknown reason I assume I am not the only one who hates having to download new maps for every single bullshit tournament, creating new folders, extracting etc. etc.

What does your maps folder look like? Upload screenshots to share the pain.

dling mappacks isnt too hard..usually takes me a minute to get a tournament's mappack, extract, etc.

mine looks a lot more stuffed than yours but I dont bother to upload...thanks to replayz and mapz, now my war3 folder has a size of 3.9 gig...

i removed all shit before installing 1.22

are there any reasons to keep the folders like "weg 2005" or "wcg 2006" in 2008? ;-)

I have like .... 10 or more folders for the NGL maps! I get so annoyed!

My Map folder is very small coz I delete a lot but my replay folder passed the 8 GB mark (It's still far behind my 50 GB porn folder)

I dont know who decides it, but I think as a community we should never again have to paste Turtle Rock into /download/ngl/wcg/download/map/map/ALLSTAR/download/WCG2006/MGC/download/map

Half the time its the damn blizzard map anyway -.-

agree to -Dc mostly it's just the standard blizzard one.
to skygarbage and some other guys: it's not about how large it is, but how many mappacks you already had to download for every random tournament. If you always have the time to search and download mappacks from chinese pages I envy you.

and lets not forget the ngl mess. ngl maps now reside in:

Maps\NGL\NGL\Season08
Maps\Download\NGL

I dont see why Warcraft doenst find the map automatically when it`s located in "Maps"....
No..I demands the exact location and filename.....checksum mb ?

...maybe 1.22b will bring that feature >
