Why i dont see any stars like madfrog, heman, by the way i dont see any good female europe wc3 players. While some time ago we had Arctica. What happened with old good europe. Not enough time for wc3. Finally found that there is a real life, real girls, real alcohole and real joint ? :D if it so. It isn't so bad probably.

Holomi, im sry but you obviously havent done any research before creating such an absurb thead. The reasons for that are simple:
1) Your point about asians dominating the worldwide wc3 scene overall is correct ( lack of new talents in Europe, lack of tournaments and prizemoney etc ), however you forgetting that Grubby ( latest achievement ) practicly carried MYM on the way to the victory vs Mouz, Sk in WC3L ( along with MOON ). 2ndly ToD who not only 2-0ed Moon, Luci and Susiria but admitted himself he isn't training or trying too hard ( meaning he's still around and absolutely top player material )
2) Such shallow remarks that "Soccer and inconsistant SOJU"" are top 1 elves are absolutely rubish ( Hi MOON ), Moon is the only elf that comes into discussion of being ""top elf".
3) Since when did Wc3 scene ( afaik ) have had any decent competitive female wc3 players??

The thread is started by a girl with her own view of the wc3 scene... it is rather ridiculous to even comment what she said but I'll do it anyway @ Holomi - if you think that alcohol and weed usage is something cool and telling random people on the internet that you are doing those stuff is making you look cool - you are wrong. Why? Because everyone drinks alcohol, many people have abused drugs in their lives, so you are not going to be someone special. And about sex - it is a moral thing, which Europeans view differently than Asians. And you are partially right, having sexual intercourse could really distract you from playing computer games, spending more time with girls and so on and so fourth. However it is a person's right to choose what they would do, so I believe that you judging their decisions in real life is absurd.

Grubby can compete with asia so i would say atm he is the best orc.

Point is in practice, but I don't see how Asia>Euro.Last WCG won Creo (Euro player) and every WCG there is at least 2 or 3 non Asian players (Shortround,Hot,XyLigan,ToD,Grubby...).

probably because asian players don't realize that real life > pc (going out with friends/girl or boyfriend, parties, drinking, doing sports and etc. is much more entertaining that PC). and also they don't realize that it's better go to uni, take your exams and then go to a probation and maybe find a job and after some experience go to a better place and get lots of money. because f.e - you're a korean and stop gaming at 24-5 - you've missed uni - no diplom, you won't have any work experience, the best years have passed and you played games the whole days during them... and you're so "far behind"... yes you have money, but they'll end some day. i'm not surprised that when i see some korean/chinese guy next to some beautiful girl they get red and can't say a work or do something...

creo won the wcg 2007, sky finished 2nd ... but if you think about it, sky "won much more" money than creo because of the cheap lifestyle in china. My point is that making a living from progaming is much more worth in china than in europe.

what does that have in common with the topic.Sorry , but when Europeans were totaly dominating the scene 2002-2004 (no need to name the players , i guess u all know them) , the prize money in each tournament was much lower than today + there were fewer tours as a whole

Probably it seems that Asians are dominating because their nowadays top players appeared kinda "later" on the scene.When Inso/madfrog/heman/grubby/tod were already top players remind/soju/lucifer/sky/lyn were totaly unknown to the world-wide public.The top koreans from that time fov/showtime/rainbow/check/reign/sweet have either retired or don`t really play anymore on that high lvl as they used to.Proly the only exception is Moon

So I guess the thing is that Asia switched its "generation" meanwhile there was noone to replace the old euro players

is wrong. The reasons are that the koreans, as you mention, are indeed unknown but that does not make them out of context. In Korea during the time period you said there were several leagues and other tournament which were played only by those korean players. Shall I remind you what happened when some of the european guys went there and participated in them? I think not.

And this was the best period in european warcraft history (lol).

I think Asia pwned us because in Asia, video games are more developped and it's like a job for them. In Europe it isnt developped at all then players prefer studying ...
