China needs to seriously consider hiring non-chinese as commentators for their future tournaments.

The commentators are so terrible (PGL is a good example) its not even funny.
About as good as hooligans yelling on the streets.

For people who do not understand chinese its probably not so bad but jesus i hate myself for knowing chinese when i watch their live streams.

At least be more professional even if you are biased really.

There's a difference between being biased slightly and being a hooligan.

In my memories only magicyang and BBC (both chinese commentators) were decent.I believe they work for GamesTV and magicyang used to play professionally as NE.
If you pay enough attention though they are still a little biased when it comes to chinese players vs a foreign player but it is at an acceptable lvl AKA being professional.

Yelling like idiots is not only an insult to yourself but you are also insulting the other poor player that gets no attention whatsoever.

dude the commentary is in chinese for a reason. It obviously is targeting the chinese audience and market so OF COURSE it is going to be biased.
I watch the german commentary in a euro 2008 match and they are biased too. I'm sure if you watch an african commentary of a game where africa plays vs another team, they're going to be biased too.

I watched countless Korea-hosted wc3 games in the past and recently in AWL.
But I never heard any biased commentaries against foreign players from the Korean commentators.
(but I do remember them talking good about foreign players such as grubby, ToD, and Sky and much much more). They do cheer for their mainland players but thats about it. Its all about proffesionalism imo
Chinese commentators need to be more proffesional and grow up If they really want
China to be the center of wc3 gaming scene.

they also put no emotions on the commentary, no excitement etc.
korean commentators are the complete opposite tho,they're shouting like crazy etc.

nobody likes those guys(esp tailong and peter) even in china,i closed the volumn when watching ppive...they're really not fit this job..
