Take defs vs wNv for example, Nithala had much more delay then the chinese yet they whined on and on about hosts while Nithala didnt say a thing.

how do you know nithala didnt say a thing? the reason why the damn 2v2 games took 3 hours was because nithala wouldn't stop crying about hosts and the lag he had.
They have played 2 games on Shriek and they didnt say anything. Suddently in third game they wanted to change hosts coz Nithala had 400 ping on him. If he indeed lagged badly he would have said so within 3 minutes of the game of the FIRST game, not wait for 2 games to be played. The fact they accepted to play on, it meant the host was decent enough. Nobody forced them to play on shriek and everybody knew the importance of each game.
Perhaps they thought (general belief) that the wNv 2v2 sucks enough for them to score even on lag.. teehee :).

As a team manager, you'd better do something like finding more good hosts or a netbar with better net conditions for you players,etc. I understand that this may not be easy but for the god's sake just move on and let us see you are doing something rather than whining on every forum.

-.-;; as far as hosts go I did my best but as I have previously explained it's not necessarily a host problem but a chinese sucky net problem. I can bring the best hosts out there but unless chinese learn about fair market and competition between ISP companies allowing the net quality to go up, rather than damn monopole on the market is not much that I can do.

As the capital of China, Beijing has so many important enterprises, research and educational centres as well as other facilities that might have really good net resources. I'm definitely sure that if you've got some right management and right person in Beijing you'll be able to find better net condition than what WE's got in Shanghai. By digging up all the PR resources you've got and making use of all the means at hand, solve this problem once for all please. You've got such good players like xiaoT,000 and Sai. Don't let the net problem hinder their performances any more.

Shanghai, where WE is located has by far better net because Shanghai is the IT capital of China. I was observing on weekend Dcup. Final Sky vs Sai. Sai had to me 730 ping, Sky had 435. The difference was substantial and noticeable. xiaOt and other wNv players said in different interviews the same about the net conditions .. i don't understand why you insist and you try to call us liers.

It's not in my power to do anything about their net. What do you want me to do jesus!. when we had CW vs N!Faculty and the ISP decides to get on a 1 hr maintenance 20 mins before it started, and maintenance which lasted 2 damn days in the end.. tell me exactly what you want me to do.. and i do it. Change china?? i cant!!

As far as I know as a Chinese, in nearly all aspects Beijing occupies most of the resources in China so long as the bureaucraft there wishes. But only those important facilities have those resources, even if sometimes it's just a waste, and the common public can not be able to share it if you don't have appropriate relationship. A big problem with Beijing is that as capital of China for hundreds of years, people in that city has developed into some really bureaucratic methodology. This is very obivious and almost exists in every fields of life in Beijing so that a newcomer will feel that at the very beginning when he arrives. Everything there is valued only by your social rank(how rich you are as a businessman or how high the official rank you've got as an official etc). Relationship is very important if you want to achieve something in that city. So what I want to tell you is that better net condition definitely exists in that city, but you needs to adopt certain method to get it. I don't know how wNv's management works, and you are probably not that person who can decide on it, but I think at least you can suggest to the right person and let him realise how crucial the problem is now.

Yes I know that and I am quite aware of how things work in China but as long as I am not actually there my powers are really limited. As for stressing about the net importance, I have always did this. I have always tried to make them understand how important this aspect is ever since KnightCn was still with wNv.
Also when comes about China it takes a lot of time and patience to gain trust when you are a foreigner. They tend to disregard you, the work that you do, the opinions that you have and you arent exactly given credit for your ideas. Many have a hard time believing that actually somebody who is not chinese can have a better view over the things and can offer viable solutions to certain problems but then again what can I do? I can't force anybody's hand. I have always offered my help and all i could do, I did.
