Hey guys, i just wanna ask if you have the same problem as me when you want to watch streams with octoshape or watch pplive. everytime i do so my whole internet crashes after 10-20minutes and i gotta reset the router etc so it works again (it sometime takes 15minutes >_>)

Any ideas to solve this problem?

yes, go to (I have french windows)

Network places > Local Network (your internet connection > Right click > TCP/IP > Properties > advanced > Options > TCP/IP filter > Properties > enable the TCP/IP filter (if it's already enabled, disable it.)

reboot.

Is your router firmware up-to-date?

if you use win xp, try to install these fixes:
KB921883
KB923414
or install service pack3

i had some problems with my internet in WinXP SP2 without these fixes.

but maybe you have other sort of problem.

-i have windows 2k
-i dont have any real router like most of the people have it, i dont need to open slots for anything etc

"i gotta reset the router etc so it works again" that s what you said... If resetting the router does the trick, the problem is router firmware most likely... Or do you have an actual PC for routing mb?

i just wasnt sure what the word "isdn modem" (the thingy thats responsible for internet/telephone) means in english ~~
