I've been playing a lot of 2on2 with SeeD (imbavideo guy) and I'm shocked at the amount of tie hackers in the 2on2 ladders. I never realised it was so common now.

From what i've heard there is no point in e-mailnig Blizzard because nothing ever happens, what do you guys think. Does blizzard do enough to stop tie hackers? Does it listen to emails identifying them?

Reallly irritated, I mean at least your not getting a loss, but we just beat a lvl 35 team, was a great comeback, then bang "you've been disconnected". Infuriating -_-;

just look at the top 20, so many with less than 10 losses.

haha same happend to me also. I was playing vs a lvl 10 team, kicking ass i might add in AT and then.. when they really started losing we both get disc XD.. just lol.. really.

the pure joy of owning the rank 2 in the 4on4 ladder with like 80-10 stats just to get disconnected after 5 mins cause they lost a base and all of their armies.
It actually satisfied me more than another random win.

Nobody can show proof that _all_ hackers have a specific personality or are "total losers in real life" , what ever that means. Neither I can show that no hacker has problems in handling his life, thus it is stupid to generalize things or people like that.

Well both me and Seed are quite calm about it and just go to the next game, but now its starting to get repetitive ^^

At first me and my at partner didnt knew what was going on. At first we thought we just had a dc but since we're on ventrilo we came to the conclusion that the oponents are hackers :(
We both thought , ok doesnt happen that much lets move on.
But lately it has been occuring alot (3-4 times in the last 20 or so games.)
I cant even imagine how ppl can come up with these hacks... why not just do an auto win hack....

Ofc, tie hack is actually the strategy part of this game(tier1) as blizzard wants to trap more rts players in switching to WoW(tier2). Then they might feel free to release a sc2 _OPEN_ beta(tier3)(gg)

How do you know you got tiehacked?
I also have that kind of problem and I dunno if it is me (my comp/my connexion) or a tiehacker. How can you make the difference. It happens something like one game out of 3. I have like a disc (the "you got disconnected" screen) but when I leave the game, I'm still connected to bnet.

im quite sure blizz will solve this... until new hacks come ~~

it takes the hackers 2 days at max to release new hacks after a patch, no matter what Blizzard changes. And seeing that they haven't banned really obvious hackers in more than 18 months now, while listening to noob balance suggestions from the community they never ever replied to one of the dozens of topics dealing with the hacking issue.

the best is when you get maphacked all game ... THEN you get dischacked just as you pull the game from your ass.

well in 2x2 and 3x3 tourneys, i get in finals lots of times cause of tiehackers. Bcoz i get weaker opponents after tie than normally and usually like 5-0-3 or 6-0-2 cause of tie

happened to me too in 2v2....the moment we kill them we get disced...and nothing changes to win/lose ratio...like it didnt happened...just move on and forget it....u know u raped them :D and they know too....

sometimes they even get the win and you get a lose so its not only tiehack, gogo blizz antihacks!

maybe if u go to LAN Satiini, chances are people won't be hacking there.

cause tiehack is a tiehack, if they drop you when you have much more points then they do, you get the win. Just like in a tour game.
At least, that's the theory, but I got tiehacked 5 seconds into the game before and still got the win. Allegedly there are different hack versions where some older/cheaper ones tend to backfire.

Bnet is shit anyway , I get secs delay even when I play some custom game haha

Yeah I've got more than 100 ping to Northrend but I still play it. That's arguably good ping yet I've gotten 8 +dc's. It's basically like if I get a hero kill / push base. They usually say gg and then dc me. Really annoying how obvious it is.

man those hackers suck hard... i ve met a lot of maphackers too (in rt as allies). they never scouted and told me everything the opponent did - ofc i left. but it really sucks, its destroying all the fun... (yepp big CARE that i like to play rt :)

It's definitely getting pretty bad, but the thing that annoys the hell out of me is when you get dischacked by a someone or two people that are like 50%. If I was going to go through the trouble of tie hacking I would at the very least bother enough to have a perfect account. At 50% it's like, why bother?

Well I got disconnected lots of times like that, but what I notised is that i got about 2 times more xp than a normal win

Anybody notised that? Or i am wrong :)
