When people speak about the best game ever the one that comes to my mind is a game from Heman vs Intox (aka treetox) in wc3 vanilla (arround 2003 I guess). LT was the map. Game was around an hour long but there were just so many comebacks I couldn't believe what I was watching. I don't even remember who won and people can now say it wasn't that great etc due to wc3 vanilla having no unit variety but the fact is that back then it got me damn impressed. If it wasn't the best game ever, at least I guarantee it was the best I have ever seen or the one who got me more hooked. Does anyone remember it?

hm one that goes back to my mind is Inso vs Grubby @NGL lan first season , when Inso lost his main and managed to win the game overall , I remember how I was going "into the game" haha ;}

Creo vs Sky final game WCG 2007 was awesome.
Nitemare vs ElkY in roc (think it was CPL) was ownage
InToX vs Insomnia in CPL final roc = ownage. InToX was best AoW-player imo
also eSu.Soul vs MaDFroG on plunder isle in the time frog played NE, soul won by building loads of farms to keep the aow's out of his base while he got mortars

I remember a game of tree abusing at EI where Intox (don't remember if it was he) sent a wisp to showtime's base at start but showtime won due to a new BO: sending two and making two trees. =_=

well actually yarakyo was amazingly entertaining to watch, allways using non-standard strategies but done with so much skill.

I think if he had just played standard he would have been a top player for sure. But being creative and entertaining was probably more valuable from a spectator p.o.v. as just another tower massing human.

agree with NookE, the way he plays is amazing .. when he has his timing right he makes the other player look like shit in comparison with strategies that no sane person would ever think of.

I remember a game where he used paladin + bloodmage with rifleman vs some random gosu orc. The orc couldn't kill a single unit... it was banish + holy light on any injured unit, mana siphon on orc hero's, mana siphon back to paladin, paladin shield... repeat etc.

I think the orc left saying something like "bla, human is cheat", wich was retarded since it takes 10x more skill to win with crazy stuff like that on the highest level :]

not really, he practices his unique strat as often as somebody else practices his standard. In fact it might even be easier to pull off sometimes cause most people have no clue what to do against it when they see it the first time. Inventing the strategy is the hard part to begin with.
Just look at AKM, all his fanboys say he's so good cause of his one-hit-wonder strategy but in fact he can't micro shit and utterly fails if he faces people who know what to do.

Anyone who has any clue about warcraft 3 at all and has seen a Yarakyo replay can easly see he has godlike micro. And I wouldn't say anything like that lightly since I have seen a lot of replays.

Besides making new strategies is not hard at all, anyone can come up with crazy stuff. Executing them at the highest level and winning with them is the hard part.

The strat he uses is nice but those games exactly weren't so exciting mainly because the orc was an a-click on hero player. I would love to see this strat being executed vs someone who tries to counter it by going something weird as well. It will be a enjoyable game for sure.
